Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Azusa

Since I come here almost every day for the Wi-Fi during evening hours, occasionally I will order either cheesy bread or a pizza and soda. I do appreciate the hot food but sometimes it gets delayed in getting it. Only twice have they screwed up my order and only once I left because an order was placed but never got made. Sometimes you have to be patient with the employees here but one of the annoyances I cannot abide is the very loud background music drowning out people trying to enjoy their meal and talk at the same time. I like the food here but timing issues need a huge focus at this location. Update 11/10 - And two other issues have arisen; 1. Access to app has failed, password reset inactive. 2. They refuse to allow my rolling luggage inside (where other people bring in their e-bikes and skateboards) and keep it outside where it could be stolen. One star has been removed due to these new developments.

New update: as of May 6, the local manager has ejected me from this place after I came in to purchase a drink and relax after a long day. After people have shown me kindnesses in the past and giving me their receipts to get drinks or even a brownie from time to time, this happens? Is this how Blaze Pizza shows helpfulness to people? I find this not only distressing but disturbing since I haven't done anything wrong and this one person thinks I'm stealing food?? I urge corporate to reach out and talk to me about this - I am truly appalled that I would be treated this way and had nothing but much respect for this place. Right now, not so much anymore. A manager at the Azusa location of Blaze Pizza stole my personal property, along with committing fraud on my debit card TWICE. The location management has been pretty good with taking an immediate course of action by dismissing this employee. However, corporate has not done much to correct such a horrendous situation. I called over 22 times and was sent straight to voicemail every time. Because of this, I decided to visit the corporate office directly only for it to be vacant on a Monday at 2 pm.

I finally was able to get a hold of someone from corporate after tweeting to Blaze Pizza on Twitter. The representative on Twitter had relayed my contact information to a corporate representative. The Director of Operations at Blaze, Blanca, then phoned me and told me they would compensate me on Dec 14th for my lost property, which included brand new Airpods and my U.S. passport. I had a flight on the 17th, so I was hoping to get compensated expeditiously.

I have been pretty patient considering the circumstances, but I will not continue to make excuses for this company. I should not have to deal with all this emotional distress because the wrong hire was made. If a manager with good character was hired in the first place, I would be writing a stellar review and would have my property back in my possession. Blaze Pizza utilizes the old Burger King slogan "have it your way" with its great assortment of pizza toppings and choices of crust!

Me and my buddies went in on my birthday and ordered "the memory" of beer and pizza after a hard fought street hockey game.

We ordered the keto crust with three layers of cheese, sliced pepperoni with olives, mushrooms, bell peppers and sausage!

The loser of the street hockey game had to buy enough beer to make us stagger!

(Oh, and Blaze has your choice of both craft and domestic beers.)

The Pizza was excellent cooked in their fire oven and we enjoyed watching them remove it with those big paddles and yelling "hot!"

We all said "they don't call it Blaze Pizza for nothing!"

My sister popped in and ordered a salad with strawberry, blueberries and Caesar's dressing. She also ordered meatballs (yes they serve great meatballs separately) and boy, are they huge!

She poured the meatballs into her salad and was as happy as a little fat bird! (And she is one!)
