The absolute WORST shopping experience I have ever had with Target. I ordered an item via the app and showed up an hour and a half later for pick up. Was told to just stand there off to the side while the associate brought it to me. 30 minutes later still nothing. Associates walked right by me with no offerings to help or to even check to see if I needed help. Finally I walked back to electronics myself to buy in person what I had already purchased in the app and couldn't find anyone around to provide me any assistance. After waiting around for 10 minutes, I used my cell phone to call Guest Services (there were no "Need Help?" signs/buttons/phones to be found) to request to send someone back to help me. Once the associate got over there, he was able to get me the items that I needed so that I could finally get out of that place. Two separate purchases of the same items and 3 hours later, I received an email stating that the store was out of stock on the items that I purchased through the app and asked if I wanted to choose an alternative or cancel the order. The problem with that, is that there was an entire shelf full of the items I had requested! If it wasn't for me being angry enough to walk back to electronics to buy everything AGAIN, I would've walked away with nothing and forced to make my purchase elsewhere. With lying and unhelpful employees, I refuse to spend any more money...
Read moreInsanity. Went to this target because the app said they had a blender in stock. I get to the aisle and pick itâs not on the shelf. A couple weeks ago I had went in to buy a nespresso machine and same thing happened. Went to customer service and they called to the back and immediately someone brought it out to me - no problem. For the blender, I do the same thing. I go to customer service, tell them how the nespresso was handled. He looks it up and says yep we have it. But then proceeds to tell me that I have to place a store pick up order instead of just calling back for someone to grab it. This was the first issue. I then ask, can I wait here for it and he says yes theyâll see the order and grab it then bring it up here. I wait for 10 minutes and he the comes back over to me and says oh sorry by the way in store pick ups âtake a whileâ. Seriously?! I told you how it was handled last time, Iâm standing here in the store, and now youâre having me leave and come back when itâs ready because you didnât want to go through the work of calling someone to pick it off the back shelves??? This is ridiculous. Donât show the blender as available and in aisle C51 if itâs not actually there. Also if Iâm in the store, do the right customer service thing and have someone bring...
Read moreThey don't rotate their products for freshness, as other reviewers have noted moldy food. Plus, those reviews date back months and it is clear since no one has bothered to respond or address the issue, they really are not paying attention or do not care to change.
My wife shops here frequently, but I really try to avoid this Target for any kind of food or beverage because they do not rotate their products. A normal grocery store puts the newest stock in back to try and avoid any products expiring and going to waste, or a customer buying something expired and getting sick. The worst area for this I have seen is with the sodas up by the cashier areas. I was there in mid-March, picked up my wife's prescriptions, and grabbed a coke out of the refrigerator unit by the check out. When I got home and tasted it, it was very flat and gross. I checked the "Best By" date printed on the bottle and it was from July of 2018, 8 months past the date! These bottled cokes hit the stores typically with a date 3 months into the future, so basically it could have been sitting in this store for 11 months. So while their perishable goods will show mold and thus be tossed when it looks bad, it is clear that the store does not practice rotating its...
