Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Virginia

The worst experience I have ever had at any Tropical Smoothie. I ordered a smoothie and the Hummus Veggie in a bowl without pepper jack cheese. For health reasons I can't have the wrap not that that should be an issue. I get the order and it's not in a bowl. So I let the young lady know, it should be in a bowl and not a wrap. She tells the other young lady who made it with snickering and laughing. Both of them. I came in because there was only 2 people waiting fir their food when I walked in. I had a tight schedule to be on a call. So I just asked for a refund because obviously my wrong order was amusing to them as they wasted my time. Then she was to ask a third lady who began speaking in her native tongue. NEWSFLASH!!!! I understood it. So that was unprofessional and disrespectful moment #2. With all of that you would have thought they were smart....nope. They had to call someone to do the refund because they didn't even know how to do that! Oh and that person had to look via video because they didn't know it by heart. I love Tropical Smoothie but won't ever go there. Total waste of my time. They took so long another...

The worst I've ever experienced at a Tropical Smoothie. And I go to Tropical Smoothies a lot. So the cashier was going back and forth into the kitchen trying to fix a some guy's order that was messed up off to the side. After awhile, what I assume was a manager comes out to give the guy a refund, punches some buttons, goes back into the kitchen, grabs a phone to call for help. Another staff member comes out, hands some food to the lady next to me. The whole thing takes several minutes. The entire time, I am standing right in front of the register with my debit card in my hand.

Not a"hey sir, we'll be right with you", not a look that says "just a minute" not a "we're sorry, it'll be just a few minutes "....nothing. they acted like I wasn't even there...so then I wasn't.

I went next door to Chik Fil A...there were more ppl in line than in all of Tropical Smoothie. In less time than I stood in front of the register at TS, they got through the 5ppl in front of me, took my order and gave me my food.

If the regular service at this branch is even close to what I experienced, the corporate office should be ashamed to have their name...

When I walked in there was no line, one guy came in behind me, Ordered my smoothie, cashier asked if it was for here or to-go, I said to-go, but then laughed because all the smoothies are to-go, blank stare from cashier and some explanation about why she asked. I headed to bathroom (gross and no paper towel) when I came out the line was growing. The guy who had ordered after me got his two smoothies and sandwich, then two other patrons after him got their smoothies. I finally inquired where my smoothie was, the cashier, gave me a blank stare, said there are only 3 of us, and I said I ordered before the last 4 people who got their order, again blank stare and then, "Well she's fixing to make yours now." Waited a few more minutes and finally got my smoothie. The smoothie wasn't even made correctly, didn't have ginger. I LOVE Tropical Smoothies, I get them all the time, but would NOT recommend this location to anyone. The staff attitude and appearance of the store make it a big thumbs down, not in line with the Tropical...
