Crestwood is super easy to navigate, everything is easily identifiable. There are two entrances/exits. One onto Crestwood and one onto New Design Rd. There is a small Strip-Mall type building, currently holding a Food Lion, Crestwood Liquors, China Sea, Gran Azteca Mexican restaurant, Laundromat, Rian Cleaners (clothing, dry cleaning I believe), Crestwood Cleaners (doubt they have two dry cleaners in the same strip so this may be a home cleaning business but I'm not sure), if I'm missing anything I'm terribly sorry, I know Beef O Brady's used to be at the end.
There are three other businesses spaced around the parking lot. One is a Walgreens, one is a Brewster's Ice Cream, the other is a small bank called ACNB. There's a possibility they have an additional small personally owned Pharmacy in the strip the only other thing is no is that they have what's called a Coinhub ATM Machine where I understand you can put in cash and get out Bitcoin. Whether you can get out any other cryptocurrencies is not something of which I have any knowledge.
The parking lot is relatively well lit at night. All of the businesses there, to my knowledge, have wheelchair access. Parking is routinely abundant or at least available. The plaza itself is easily accessible for the most part, and to my knowledge the area is relatively safe i.e. it is not a high crime area. Not by any means to my knowledge. I will post additional photos within the next...
Read moreCrestwood Plaza is a nice place to get groceries, withdraw money from the bank ATM, get fresh ice cream from Brewsterâs, do laundry at the laundromat, grab some liquor at the liquor store, get some dry cleaning done, and to eat at its three different restaurants. Currently, we live at the Crestwood Laundromat due to our Kenmore Elite washer dying after 15 years.
Starving Marvinâs restaurant is a nice pizza and sub place that is overpriced. China Sea restaurant is something I have not tried, but would definitely like to try. The Gran Azteca Mexican Food Bar and Grill is a little bit expensive in comparison to Fajita Grande, but the food is amazing and very fresh.
Overall, the $5 per load washers and $3-$6 per dryers have been a godsend. Feel free to enjoy the shopping center. Just be careful because there is a lot of traffic...
Read moreSome of the places here aren't worth writing home about. That being said, Food Lion is great and has lower prices than many other grocery stores. The laundromat is solid. Bruster's is worth a stop. I do end up at Walgreens a lot. I feel this strip of stores is very convenient and it never seems too busy. Some parking lots in Frederick make me overwhelmed with a lot of people. I like that this one is a bit more quiet, the parking is good and the businesses are good for...
