The Good: Both of the people I personally interacted with here were wonderful and helpful! The Dr and Julie were both a pleasure to work with and answered any questions I had.
The Bad: One of the staff members here, Jess I believe, was talking to another customer very negatively about other previous customers body type, clothing and appearance for what was an uncomfortably long time while I was waiting for my appointment. In a city where Be Kind is all over the place please remember this. The comments made about multiple people I’ve never seen or heard of was rude and uncalled for especially for a conversation in the main area of the establishment. Surely people talk about their customer base behind closed doors but the conversation to another customer about people’s body’s and clothing choice was distasteful and inappropriate to say the least.
If Julie was not so friendly and helpful I would have been uncomfortable enough to leave before even seeing the dr based on the conversation Jess was having.
If Jess reads this, I hope you consider your words when talking about other people that they are someone’s mother, daughter,...
Read moreI scheduled my appointment two weeks in advance. The day before my appointment, they call to ask about my insurance and when I tell them who I carry insurance through, they tell me unfortunately we don’t take that type of insurance so, I explain to her that I have an HSA account that I need to use she tells me ok you can use that so we keep my appointment. They call me back a second time to ask if I wear contacts or have diabetes or any other eye issues cause it’s a digital appointment without a doctor and if I have any of those issues, I will need to make another appointment. I call them back and tell them I have none of those issues. I show up for my scheduled appointment and they tell me the machine is broken so they can’t help me and I will need to reschedule. It seemed like from the start they did not want to help. I recommend going anywhere else other...
Read moreI chose this store because they accepted my insurance, had an opening that day, and was the closest to my home- approximately 1/2 hr away. The exam with Dr Adams went smoothly. I spent more than I wanted to on glasses, but that's my fault. I was notified when my glasses came in and stopped on my way home from work. There was something WAY off with the glasses, to the point of double vision. I described the issue and was told to give them a week (what??). When I stopped back after the week (with no change), someone else helped me. She took the glasses in the back and "read" them. She came out minutes later and apologized. The right lens was the wrong prescription. The glasses had to be sent back. I have the glasses now and all is good, but couldn't they have been "read" the first time? It would have saved 1 of my 3 half hour trips to...
