Tonight my girlfriend and I came through the drive thru for dinner. We ordered 2 meals with upgrades to cheese curds and 2 blizzards for after our meals. In total we spent $32. We pulled up to the pickup window and we were handed our 2 blizzards first. We waited a little longer and we were handed 1 meal with fries that should have been cheese curds and then we were asked to pull forward to wait for the rest of the food because they were making fresh chicken strips. At this point we had not received our drinks, a receipt or our other meal and the meal we did receive was wrong so we pulled up to the front and walked in. We explained the situation to the worker inside who looked surprised to find out we also weren't given a receipt. She walked to the cook, who is visible to guest up front and asked where the food was. The cook seemed to have no idea that we were waiting on food because the order had been cleared. The cook also seemed flustered by the other worker explaining the fact that we had received less than 1/2 of our order and that the food that we did receive was wrong. I was able to hear the cook yell back to the other worker "we have other customers, I don't have time for this", I'm not sure who the manager is or where that manager may have been during all of this. But it was probably one of the least satisfying experiences with fast food in recent years. The place is clearly understaffed as there is a help wanted sign up with applications on the front counter. I believe sadly that this location may stay under staffed and ultimately close down. After all, how can you expect to hire more staff when the help wanted sign says "paying up to $12 an hour". With a Culver's just down the road, we'll be going there from now on; considering the price is the same and the quality and class of...
Read moreLiterally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I've never left a bad review before, but after multiple terrible experiences here, I felt the need to say something. For just one example: 2 times in a row I have tried to order a mint oreo blizzard. The first time I was handed a vanilla oreo blizzard and when I politely pointed out that I actually wanted a mint oreo, the server said it was and shut the drive through window in my face. Then I tried it and went back around the drive thru line and told them I couldn't taste the mint they told me I was "wrong" and that their mint doesn't have any color to it... which isn't true because they finally remade it (after much deliberation) and it was green but it looked like soup and was completely ruined and disgusting when they handed it back. Today I tried to order one again and they handed me an obviously vanilla oreo blizzard but charged me twice for "extra extra mint". I tried it and it was clearly vanilla and so I brought it back in. The employees were incredibly rude and weren't going to remake it until the manager came over and pointed out to them that it wasn't green "like it should be" so they remade it and when I got it back, it was still bland and not green but I accepted it because I just wanted to leave due to how badly they were embarrassing me. I was still charged twice for the "extra mint" and when they apologized it was a very passive aggressive "Sorry we didnt make it good enough for you the first time" with an eye roll. So I guess this is a warning to mint oreo lovers to avoid this place but also as someone who has worked in customer service for years, I'm very disappointed in how they treat polite and respectful...
Read moreThis is one of our favorite fast food hangouts, and we stand by our 5 stars, since we are seldom there on Sundays and will withhold judgment. On this day, they were very short staffed so we had to scrub our own table before seating. We were set to order a burger combo, but the grill was not working, so we settled for chicken strips, which were very good. Unfortunately, the fries were old and rubbery, unlike what have had in the past. They were kind enough to bring us fresh ones, but should not have been serving the old ones. I feel bad for drive thru customers who got that batch. We usually end our meal with a blizzard, and found that they were out of my flavor - drumstick - so I had to settle for another. When the blizzards arrived, they were both covered with syrup and ice cream down the outside of the cup, and it was impossible to eat it without becoming a sticky mess. They should never have been presented to customers in the restaurant. Again, I would be concerned with ordering one in drive thru. We are hoping that this Sunday visit was an anomaly, that "our" DQ will resolve whatever issues were the cause of this less than stellar experience. Let's get back to your normal five...
