My home flooded with the storms back in early August. My PC was completely under water, was partially filled with sediment, and I was fairly certain I'd be having to purchase a new PC.
I called Austin, and he said to bring it down and they would see what can and can't be salvaged. Over a month and a half, I received multiple updates through the process of Austin diagnosing my machine. In the end, my 4090, CPU, motherboard, RAM, and SSD's were able to be saved on Austin's watch. He let me know my PSU and case were done due to a short and corrosion.
I am big into programming, IT and data analysis, but don't wander into the realm of hardware. After talking with Austin, I purchased a new case and PSU (with no up charging), and he was more than happy to put my machine back together.
In the end, Magic City PC saved me thousands due to not having to purchase a new PC. Their communication was top-notch, even with my phone having issues receiving calls for a few weeks. The integrity was amazing, as I'm sure some service centers would be more than willing to tell a customer who thought their components were gone were unsalvageable to restore and resell a 4090 or an I9 14000k.
For any hardware or component issues, after this interaction, I will be going to Magic City PC and recommending them to anyone I can. The customer service was phenomenal, and the integrity piece truly sticks out. I greatly appreciate what you guys have...
Read moreI went there a couple weeks ago on a Saturday morning my laptop was not charging the owner's ( Auston ) son took a look at my computer, I had googled how to reset the charging it asked to unplug the battery there was a screw with an odd head, his son disconnected the battery and reconnected it turned out I needed a new power supply and they quoted me a price. They did not charge me to do this which I had called other PC repair shops and they wanted 50 dollars to take out a screw. In my opinion the price they quoted me was fair but i decided just to get another Chromebook it was only a few dollars more than the quote. While his son was looking at my laptop Austin and me had a great conversation he was easy to talk to and I got that he generally cares for his customers and he isn't out just to make a buck. In today's age and business environment that is unfortunate that this is not the norm. If I was ever in need again or computer repair this would be the first place I call. I have already recommended them to a friend and would recommenced to anyone without hesitation. We need more small businesses...
Read moreI will only come here for my computer needs. I wanted to buy my son a custom gaming computer for Christmas and Auston delivered in a BIG way. After an initial conversation with Auston about what my son used his computer for and what my budget was, Auston laid out a plan. He sent me a parts list with pricing for me to select. After the build was selected, it was only around 2 weeks for everything to come in. Auston completed the build in a short time after. What he produced is an absolute beautiful beast of a gaming computer. I could not have been happier. More importantly, my son LOVES it!! A few of his college buddies came over to check out his new rig with all being impressed. Magic City PC is just a classic small family business built on quality, knowledge, and customer care. I just can’t say enough nice things about Auston and his father, John. This is the only place I will come to for any of my computer needs. Do not hesitate to give...
