I WAS with metro pcs for 4 years. I recently moved to B-town and got no reception what so ever. I found myself glued to a window or actually going outside to get bars on my phone. Well the metro store at magic city plaza us the knku store close to me snd seriously i would rather cut off my arm than deal with the older black guy that works on Sundays. He didnt even let me finish teling him what the problem was before he snatched my phone and said i had too many apps open. I could have a millon apps open they have nothing yo do with reception. I so i buy a different better phone. Same issues only to add this new phone wont hold a charge. He tells me ive been using a charger that goes to a different phone, or ive tried to force it in the wrong way. Ive owned a cell phone when we used to have to cstry them in a suitcase. And he sll but called me a liar o was so angry i had to go outside and count to ten. One of the patrons said when i walked out he continued to berrate me and my character in front of a store full of People. He refused to rven consider the phone MIGHT be defective. O switched my service to cricket had a professional look at my phone. The phone wsd fine the battery wss defected. He over charged me on a cover case, he tsljed me and sevetsl othrt customers not to buy the insurance because its useless after 90 days snd there is a $50 deductable. Hows that for Customer service and sales. I will never on life go thru metro and as soon as im feeling better om gking to stsnd in front of his store snd ket it be known to any potential Customer how shysty and unprofessonal that man is and how crappy their service is. Read moreBeen a Metro customer for 15 years. Today we were screwed over completely at the Barberton OH location by Devon . We went in to UPGRADE a phone and was sold a complete new line on a separate account, going from $30 to $115 a month for one phone. It was supposed to go on the same account and plan as the previous phone, two for $60 a month, same plan we've had for those 15 years. Plus he included a Mobile Hotspot we didn't ask for. We were rushed out of the store when cops were called on another customer. After getting home and deciding we didn't like or want this expensive new phone, we called Customer service and explained what happened with this " upgrade". They said return the devices and get a refund of the $154 we were charged. When we did so, Devon refused to refund anything other than the $20 tax charged, even though the receipt clearly said two weeks to return and Customer service said 30 days!! On top of keeping $134, he also kept the phone and mobile hotspot we returned as well as our receipt. We went to Cricket as our new provider who said that was a class action lawsuit as they cannot keep the money as well as the devices we paid for. So a complaint has been filed with the BBB. Shameful company to treat a 15 year customer like dirt. I would no longer suggest Metro PCS to anyone!! We were treated extremely well when we took our service to Cricket Wireless. Shame on you Metro PCS and Devon.

UPDATE* THIS LYING COMPANY NOW CLAIMS I NEVER PURCHASED A NEW PHONE FROM THEM AT ALL. THIS US THE ANSWER THEY GAVE THE BBB. I HAVE THE BANK CHARGE TO PROVE IT AND THIS ISN'T GOING AWAY...
Read moreWent the too see about purchasing a Samsung Galaxy s10e and I called the store to ask if I qualified for an upgrade on Thursday 5/14/20 for that specific phone. The associate proceeds to tell me the manager can help me when I get there (I drove 26 miles for this location) just to have the "manager" behind the counter tell me you don't get upgrades on premium phones. So the only upgrade that is offered are low tier phones ones. In a rude tone tells me $300 now and $300 when it gets here plus tax and a $15 activation fee and a new line for the phone.
Ummmm I'm already a customer have been for 7 years. Bought an Unlocked galaxy s10e from bestbuy...... with taxes&shipping $585 for the phone and it's UNLOCKED and not bound to metro by tmobile where managers treat you...
