I would give zero stars, if I could. Trying to plan a birthday party for my daughter, and I called in to reserve lanes. I was quoted a pretty good price, but I was told that I had to confirm with the manager. She would call me back. She did not call me back, the next day, nor the day after. So, I called in, and this time got a machine and left a message. I, continued to call in for five straight days, and on one of those occasions was promised she would call back with in the hour. She did not! I, finally, went in to see her. She was rude. Insisted that I never called in or left messages, even though I had proof. Her prices went up by $75 over what I was told, and then, she informed me she doesn't do birthday parties on the day that I needed, which if this was true could have been told to me the first time I called! She wasted my time, and she ruined my daughter's birthday, because Strike Zone strung me along for so long, I couldn't get a replacement location. Absolutely horrible business and Owner/Manager! I will never spend one red cent here, nor will I allow any family member or friend, go there without...
Read moreI am at Strike Zone right now. First off let me say that we drove 45 minutes here from Kentucky because the last time we went to Spare Time in Ironton Ohio our while game was ruined by the faulty lanes and we had to leave without finishing our game. I'm at Strike Zone now and we are in the 2nd game 4th ball and we have had to stop our game for maintenance 6 times. 6 TIMES! Our scores kept getting reset each time they had someone "fix" the pins, which would not stand up. Kept scattering down the lane and would reset to a full set of pins after we knocked down a lot of them, when it was our 2nd turn. AND WE HAVE TO PAY for them ruining our date. We very rarely have a babysitter so we can go out on a real date. You should at least offer 50% off because we weren't warned that your lanes, or I should say the pin resetting machine were severely screwed up. If we had known we would have never come. That's why we drove to another state to bowl, to avoid this...
Read moreI am very disappointed with this place now. It use to be great and the prices were as well. They are doing false advertising and then not honoring what they advertise. We went there believing the Family Fun Special which includes 2 hours of bowling, 2 pitchers of soda, and 1 large pizza for up to 6 people was $64.99 like the sign said out front. Once we go in we are told that special is now $89.99. I took a picture of the sign out front and the employee didn't care. She would not do a thing to make this right. Our Lane also kept breaking down and when you are literally on a countdown clock for 2 hours that's taking time away from the money you spent. I can't believe this place has become this expensive and I also remember this special use to come with 2 large pizzas. 1 is not enough for 6 people. Really would not recommend to anyone to go here. We will go to the new Malibu...
