Twisted Grille in Huntington...

We had appointments in Huntington today so decided to have dinner afterwards at Twisted Grille located beside Sav-a-lot on Rt60, not far from WalMart.

We both ordered burgers, but prior to ordering we inquired about the meat source. All of their hamburger meat comes from a local, well respected packing house in Ona. These are NOT the typical frozen hockey pucks that so many places are using. These are the Real Deal! The flavors were great. In fact, the burgers and fries were so good, we decided to get the daily special of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans for tomorrow's dinner.

I cannot say enough good about The Twisted Grille. The prices (menu attached) are very reasonable. The service was friendly and quick. Really, who sells fresh high quality beef burgers for $6?

This location has been a number of different bars over the years and I'm glad to finally see it become something more. I've followed the Sideline Grille and Twisted Taco food trucks for years now and always have a great meal at either so the mending of the two trucks into a brick and mortar is awesome. As of December 14 (still prior to their grand opening) they are still working on the exterior and interior but they are open and the food quality is already there. Fresh burgers and fresh smoked pork and a lot of homemade sides and toppings are a great addition to the ever crowded food scene in the area. I'm excited to see it transform into another great and locally owned business as they work out the kinks of going from a truck to a restaurant....

Okay this is a hidden treasure. If you are looking for it go to Krogers and it is across the street. It may look small but that and your bill late the only thing small. Onion rings the size of a softball, a huge helping of beer battered mushrooms, and a burger that just dissolves in your mouth. If you are looking are a thick dense burger this ain't it. They melt in your mouth making you're taste buds want more and your stomach saying please...
