I’ve been ordering from here for years now and today I placed a order to be delivered at 11:15 and was told the wait was 45mins as usual. No big deal at all to me. So 12:30 passes and I call to check on my order and the manager says “oh the driver is almost there” so I’m patiently waiting and another hour goes by and I call back, manager says “let me call driver to see” and he never calls me back, another HOUR goes by and still nothing so I call back and I ask for manager hoping it wasn’t the same guy who I was dealing with and asked “I would like to know if my food is really coming or can I just get my money back” manger says (flustered) “oh you never get your food? Oh he already delivered it. He delivered at this address”. I replied “that’s the wrong address” ,manager “yea he delivered there” myself “you just said he delivered to another address” ,manager “oh I will make new order and deliver it” ,myself “thank you”. 45mins later they arrive with my food , I go to sit down and all I ordered was the sweet and sour chicken with white rice, rice is fine and chicken is great but the sauce was off. It was spoiled or something? I don’t know if something was done to it but it was non edible. Now my favorite restaurant is now my biggest fear because I feel something was done to that sauce. I called to complain and he basically called me a liar until I told him to give me a refund and come get the food. They are supposed to be on their way here now with my money but it’s already been a while now... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for NOONE TO EAT FROM HERE. Read moreI used to eat from here all the time. Just ordered delivery for myself and two colleagues to be delivered to Cabell Huntington Hospital. After waiting for over 1.5 hours I called the restaurant to make sure they had received the order. The gentleman who answered the phone told me my order was only placed 32 minutes prior and it would be at least one more hour but probably more like an hour and a half. I told him it had been placed at 6:39 pm and it is now 8:16pm. I was going to make sure he had the correct order that we were discussing, but he cut me off and told me “ma’am, the food takes as long as it takes” and he hung up the phone. Since my colleagues and I are each working 24 hour shifts we really have limited time to eat and try our best to plan to get the food when it is dropped off so the delivery person does not have to wait. I was going to cancel my order because we will likely not be available at the time he said to retrieve the food, but the gentleman that answered the phone hung up on me before I could do so. I am leaving this review to let others know that there must have been some really poor changes to this establishment. As I mentioned before, I used to live very close to this restaurant and ordered it all the time. It usually took about 10-20 minutes to be ready. I understand there are likely less people working in the restaurant at this time. We are also working under stressful conditions with limited staff. I would appreciate some consideration and not to be belittled and hung up on on the phone when I am just trying to plan to be able to walk outside the hospital to collect the food since the delivery person will not be able to enter the hospital...
Read moreI never want to leave a bad review, and most of the time I wouldn’t, but I had an issue with money and the staff was incredibly rude. I called in for a delivery to my house. I gave them my card information like I had done before. When the delivery guy comes, he said that they didn’t give him any card information. He then called the location, and they said it didn’t go through. So I just gave him cash and a tip. A few days later I looked at my account to see that they had taken money out of my account on my card. I called the location and explained to them their mistake. I wasn’t angry. I just wanted my money back since they took it out of my card and took my cash. I was called a liar and yelled at. I was treated terribly and told to pick up the money immediately. I had my fiancé do it. They only gave him back the money for the food and not the tip. This guy received a cash tip and took a tip out of my card on top of the cost of the food. When I explained that he took 2 tips, and I wanted one of them back I was treated rudely and intimidated. They finally gave me back all of my cash. I will never go back there again. I understand mix ups happen, but I am upset with how they treated me when I tried to explain their mistake. Their treatment towards me and my fiancé is why they are recieving the 1 star.
