Absolutely wonderful experience this morning. I have always had a good experience with this office; however today was excellent. I have been having a lot of trouble trying to get used to and wearing my CPAP. I have tried everything to try and make the one I was using work. I went there this morning to switch my mask to something different. I explained to her the issues I was having and she was more than helpful amd DEFINITELY patient with me. I am an extremely indecisive person and couldn’t decide which to try. She spent over 30 minutes with me explaining the differences in the various types of mask and pillows I could use. She not one time was anything but wonderful as I couldn’t decide and asked a million questions. She also provided a link that would scan my face and recommend sizes in the different masks/pillows. After which I continued to ask questions and still couldn’t decide. I finally made a choice and she switched out the ones I had just received and explained that if this one didn’t work for me, I could come back after my 3 months and try the other one. She also explained that I could make an appointment to have things tried on and fitted. (I just didn’t want to wait the 3-4 days for the appointment so that is on me.) I tend to be impatient as well as bothersome. I simply can not state enough the EXCELLENT customer service she provided and the extreme patience she had. She is most definitely an asset to this company and office. If she could receive some type of recognition, it is truly deserved. I wish I had gotten her name but am hoping it will be on my account. My husband and I have contacted them multiple times to update our insurance information but they take funds from our personal account instead. Every time we call they act like they've never been notified of a new insurance plan and we continue to receive bills. They require auto-pay for the equipment we need and the only way to switch companies is to pay the equipment off in full, like we don't even have insurance. No refund can be issued until the insurance pays, which we all know can take forever, especially when we've tried so many times before and have been unsuccessful in getting the insurance info switched with them. And we have phenomenal insurance - every penny will be covered but we are now held hostage by this company that has irresponsible billing practices and does not care about their customers. I would suggest you find somewhere else for your medical equipment or ensure your insurance will never change while you are using them. They've lost our confidence and trust and now we just hope they don't drain our account every month (during a pandemic...
Read moreI live in Bardstown, and I'm well aware that there is a Gould's Discount location here. So imagine my surprise when I receive an order of medical supplies from the Gould's location in Bartlett, IL. Not only was the box battered and falling apart, held together by a few flimsy pieces of tape, but it was sent to the wrong address after I told the service rep over the phone repeatedly that it needed to be updated.
Why not post this on the Bartlett location? Because it doesn't seem to be an address that shows anywhere on Google, and is only shown on the return address of my packaging. So I'll post this information here; probably just shouting into the void but hoping someone responds. And if they don't, I'll just repeat the review for every Gould's location that can be reviewed.
Edit: The response below only proves my point. Two impotent 'solutions' that don't even attempt to connect me with an actual person, but instead try to push me into an app or web site that will steer me in circles until I get frustrated and give up. Try a little harder or don't bother responding, healthcare companies aren't fooling...
