DG Market — Local services in Bardstown

Horrendous lines... You will never go in there with more than one person actually working/checking out customers. Other employees ( especially management ) are seen meandering around the office area or actually in the office while one person checks out lines of up to 10 customers in one check out lane. I wouldn't normally take the time to post a review, but in the 6 years I've lived here, it's always the same way. Management needs to step it up and stop leaving these poor girls to deal with annoyed and angry customers because they want to sit and chat with friends in the office. ( this has literally happened 3 times in a row that I've been to this location ) I will be complaining to their corporate...

Everything is expired! Meat, chips, bread has mold, corn on the cob was molded, mayo, lunchables that I send to school for my young sons. I bought 10 lunchables and I had already sent 2 of them to school before noticing that they expired in JUNE 2019!!! After going back up there to tell them and get my money back, i went back the next week and the same expired ham lunchables were still there. There are tons of register but only one is ever open. Terrible service. This location needs a switch in management and Health department needs to be called! Serious...

I use to go there all the time. Slowly i noticed prices being higher on items here and there. Then significantly higher. I stopped buying those certain items there but when i wemt there yesterday and lowest grade hamburger was $4 a lb, ie a 3 lb roll being $12, i left. I got it at another grocery store for $2 a lb This is happening more and more and more. Im disgusted w it and will not go back much at all anymore. On top of prices the registers are never attended to...
