The cashier, Amanda H. was so very kind and was literally went above and beyond for the customers in the restaurant. I sat back and watched how she interacted with the guests and I was very impressed with her hospitality and professionalism. At one point she even came to my table and offered my daughter a cute little new years hat and my daughter was so excited over it!!! I cannot tell you how much it meant to us to be treated so very kind. God bless you Amanda. As far as the food, it was pretty bad. The soda was moldy tasting and I'm sure it hasn't been cleaned properly in a very long time. I've been in the restaurant business for many years and know that moldy taste, unfortunately. The chicken bites were so hard my daughter couldn't bite into them so we threw them away. Her burger was great she said and my chili dog tasted amazing 🤩 Other than that it was nice. I didn't ask for a refund or complain about the food because of how kind Amanda was. If the service had been terrible then I would have definitely asked for a refund no doubt. We dined inside and I'm glad for that. During our meal a customer came in from the drive in and claimed he had been waiting a very long time for his food and inquired on what was going on. The employees couldn't find his order and Amanda made things right, retook his order and remade his food. Amanda was very apologetic and made sure he was taken care of. Complete waste of time.....While waiting in line for over 50 minutes.. more than 30 of which we were at the speaker saying hello several times we did not get any service. We did not get a hello. We did not get a hold on just a second....We did not get a we did not get anything not a noise out of the speaker....and we arrived an hour before closing time. When we went to the window because it was about closing time by this time after waiting, almost almost an hour in line at the speaker... We were told they are closed. We were also told another excuse... And that They cannot take any more orders and they are closed... I asked why they didn't announce that on the speaker when we were saying hello. Hello several times they claimed they did. However, they did not, and if they did. There was a person in front of us who seemed to get their order And we pulled up right behind them on the speaker and didn't hear anything from the speaker at all. Literally nothing, so there was no warning or notification that they were closed even though they lied and said that they said it several times... And again we were waiting at the speaker Over half an hour before it was closed. This is very unprofessional... Sonic was rude about it on top of that... Read moreThe night crew at this Sonic has the worst customer service. I usually go during the day but on occasion go at night on the weekend. I get the same thing a Reese cup blast with extra Reese cup. Only on the night crew do I encounter a problem as there is no extra Reese in the cup when I have paid for it. Tonight took the cake. My husband went this time and we he got home there were no extra Reese. I refused to go to the store to buy Reese when he already paid for extra. The young man who took his order informed cooperate is cracking down on how much extra they use. I asked did anyone tell my husband that when he asked for extra and how is it an issue when we paid for it. He proceeded to get a manager who then said the same thing and once again I explained as the customer how are we to know and issue or new rules if it isn't posted. She said that extra was one scoop. I showed her my cup which clearly did not have any extra to ask did this look like extra to her. She smirked and said yes it's just chopped up. She offered no resolution or middle ground to fix the problem other than to tell me she could charge me for another scoop. Needless to say I declined and will definitely not be returning to this Sonic again. The day shift has always been amazing and helpful.
