Thompson's Jewelry Store — Local services in Batesville

Excellent customer service. I recently purchased a new Seiko Limited Edition Dive watch from Thompson's Jewelry Store via eBay.

Seiko has been plagued with noticeable QC issues the last two of three years. When I received my watch, I noticed one of the link pins near the clasp sticking out. I was able to pull the pin out with my fingers. There was NO collar to secure the pin.

I contacted the store explaining the situation, requesting a collar. There were no spare collars available. I was advised they'd be contacting Seiko (Japan) & keeping me posted (which they did). I was advised a link with the pin & collar had been ordered.

After about a month (which is not long considering they came from Japan), I received not 1 but 2 links complete with pins & collars.

For those not familiar with the pin & collar system; the pin is just a bit shorter than the link it is securing and is about the diameter of the lead in a mechanical pencil. The inner part of the collar is roughly the same diameter as the pin making difficult to insert & remove. I have attached a photo of one of the links with an arrow identifying the collar.

I was still able to wear the watch as I removed the bracelet temporarily replacing it with a NATO strap.

I recently ordered a Seiko Prospex PADI Special Edition Stainless Steel (Solar) Diver's Watch from Amazon.

After checking out all the participating vendors and after reviewing all the posted comments, I selected Thompson’s Jewelry to fulfill my order.

I placed my order on Monday evening June 10th and received it on Friday afternoon June 14th. Living in Hawaii I wasn't sure if I would receive it in time for Father's Day so I couldn't have been more pleased with its arrival.

The watch is exactly as described. It is very well made and exceptionally good looking. It came in its original box with packaging (product tags, protective seals, warranty card)

I was interested in buying a Seiko special edition watch, and had run across Thompson's Jewelry when doing a google search. I contacted them and received a response back almost right away. Talked on the phone to one of the owners. How often does that happen? After a short discussion, I ended up buying the Seiko watch I wanted from them. After ordering online, I received an email from David Thompson saying the order has been shipped. I could not be happier with this transaction and I highly recommend this store and it's people.
