I went here looking for an engagement ring for my soon-to-be fiancée and they showed us their selection and discussed with us how engagement rings and wedding bands worked as we didn’t really know. I appreciated their time and patience with us. I fell in love with a gemstone ring they had shown us and ultimately chose it after reviewing many other rings elsewhere. I emailed back and forth with Mr. Elgin and he was able to accommodate me with a different center stone I wanted. He ordered two stones for a side by side comparison which I greatly appreciated. The lab created sapphire was of a clearer quality than I had seen of stones online but the natural sapphire was also extremely beautiful. Elgin's is very expensive but you truly get what you pay for with services like jewellers. I had a vintage 18.5 carat solitare ring that needed to be sized down almost three sizes, no small feat for such a top-heavy ring on my dainty size 4 hand. I contacted jewellers in several states to resize but I settled on Elgin's because they were close and had a nice upscale atmosphere. It did take a week turnaround to resize but I felt comfortable leaving my ring there and they communicated very well with me throughout the process.
