There are times when you just have to alert the public about customer service at different places, as a warning of what you could endure. I went to the Albertsonâs Market in this shopping center to pick up a money order. When I made it to the service desk, there was a line that had formed and I knew that Albertsons Market had always been my place to go for food, lottery tickets and money orders. This day I really need a money order and I decided that I would pick up my lottery tickets while I was there. I donât think that the person (whom another employer later informed me was actually the manager) had a very good day. It seemed like chaos. At least four people was behind the counter there and other employees where on the outside of the customer service desk asking for this and for that, while even staff at the registers needed assistance. When I finally got up to the counter I asked for the money order and I said what the face amount should be and I paid her and told her that I wanted lottery tickets and that I wanted : Mega Million with the megaplier, Powerball with the power play, and a Lotto. I had to repeat it three times and the last time I said it slow for her. I believe that she was irritated because i slowed it down. She said okay, and walked off to help someone at a register, help someone asking about how to arrange a display and also to help answer a question asked by yet another employee counting a draw in what appeared to be an office. When I asked the other employeeâs behind the counter if they were going to print my tickets only one acknowledged that I even asked for them but still although she wasnât doing anything at all she still deferred the to the female manager who wasnât concerned about what I needed or the long line behind me. When she finally came back to the counter and I asked if I could have my tickets now or my money back, she got rude and obnoxious and totally unprofessional about my asking for my tickets or the money. I have had to stop going to the Albertsons on Perkins at Essen because of a manager that displayed the behavior of a Psychopath. He actually refused to give me a sales price, and told me that I missed the sale. That was not true. I got belligerent in the store, not at the counter with that manager but right at the place where the item was and the tag that showed the sale. Luckily the head manager was right in that section with the district manager and also maybe the franchise owner at that very time. The head manager told me that I was right and that he had been having a problem with the guy doing the very same thing to customer and that he thought he had the situation corrected. Another family member had to complete the sale for me. This was the second time that same guy would not honor the sale for me. For no reason at all. He just wanted to do that to me. BE AWARE OF...
Read moreWe will never absolutely never return to Hammond Aire Airline Hwy Subway!!!We came in for lunch around 1230 pm July 12th to grab a quick sub. The workers were so unprofessional!! They were loud having conversations about going to the club tonight. Not attending to the customers in line. When I say LOUD this is probably a understatement. They were Extremely Loud!! A lady and her daughter came in that they knew and asked to use the restroom which was marked EMPLOYEE ONLY, but allowed them to use. They engaged in a shouting match conversations between the customer and your employees the entire visit about what they were going to do tonight. I'm not sure about anyone else expectations when preparing others FOOD but me and my spouses experience and expectations of this place was awful. This was unacceptable very embarrassing and inconvenient. We came for a sandwich NOT a ghetto experience between employees and friends over MY FOOD that is being prepared. Who is managing these employees and why are they so comfortable talking this way and engaging in this way IN FRONT OF CUSTOMER? I placed the date and time for the MANAGER!! PLEASE WATCH...
Read moreI order curbside carryout about every week from this Albertsons. On the whole they get things right and it is usually a pleasurable and seamless visit. The girl who brings the groceries out is very nice and a pleasure to chat with. It's the substitutions that I have to be more specific about. They never seem to have Sargento cheese and always substitute with Lucerne which has little flavor. There are others but I won't be nit picky, and she has taken care of me on a questionable substitution. I will continue to order from them for my...
