I have never felt compelled to write a negative review before, but I am outraged. As a former customer, I am thoroughly disappointed with my recent experience. While the technicians are skilled, the awkward atmosphere is simply not worth the hassle. The owners despise any inquiries regarding their work and display personal bias toward “certain customers” The staff consistently use sly innuendos, creating a very uncomfortable environment for “certain customers.” When I expressed my displeasure respectfully, the owner, Jules, response was unprofessional and degrading. She took this opportunity to list undisclosed "infractions" she had documented about me, which she had never mentioned during my numerous visits. She basically had a recording of any concern or inquiry(insignificant or otherwise) I voiced during my personal nail sessions, proving that this establishment speaks negatively about their customers both to their faces in another language and behind their backs. In my experiences, the owners are inconsiderate and lack compassion for anyone outside of themselves. It is clear that this salon does not support a mutually beneficial model, as their policies heavily favor the business rather than considering their consumers. I’ve been coming here consistently for over a year now, and I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else. Before I found Perkins, I had bounced around to different salons and my nails were left brittle, thin, and damaged. But since discovering Perkins Nails, my nails have completely transformed. They are stronger, healthier, and look amazing—whether I have polish on or not!

One of the things I love most is that no matter who I book with (and I often make appointments last minute), every single nail tech here is incredibly talented, kind, meticulous, and professional. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in their work! It’s rare to find a salon where everyone is consistently excellent, but somehow Perkins Nails makes it happen.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like family. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with kindness, smiles, and a level of care that goes above and beyond. They not only care about your nails—they care about you!

Perkins Nails has completely raised the bar. I trust them wholeheartedly and recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch service in a friendly, uplifting environment!!!

Update: I appreciate this establishment, but I feel they could improve transparency regarding their pricing. I booked an appointment for acrylic with refill ($40 and up) and once I got there, I wanted to have colored tips. I expected a slight increase in cost, perhaps $10-15 more. In the refill I assumed that trimming is included because previously I wasn’t charged extra. However, I was surprised to find additional charges of $5 for trimming the nails?!? + (I didn’t ask for this) $5 for cuticle removal. The total bill was $70??? The price seems excessive. Nonetheless, the nails do look cute, but it's disappointing that there wasn't transparency about the pricing and they were implying that I was in wrong on booking the type of appointment?!? Upsetting.

Original review: 5 stars - I adore this place! The staff is fantastic, and my nail technician is excellent. I highly recommend visiting here. The environment is pristine, with a wonderful ambiance and outstanding hospitality. I opted for acrylic nails with refills and gel on top since I already had acrylic.
