Mattress Mart — Local services in Battle Creek

I really liked the service provided by this store. Initially, I emailed the store to find out if they had the mattress that I was interested in trying (Mattress Mart has 3 locations by the way, I chose the closest location near me which is located in Battle Creek) . Travis emailed me back immediately the next day to let me know that they did deliver to Jackson and also that they had all four of the mattresses I was interested in trying. I chose to buy from a local store after having a really bad experience with a mattress in a box from a big box store. Rather than waste any more time or money on a crappy back breaking mattress, I did a lot of research (about a month’s worth) to find a good mattress meaning it’s high quality materials, will last a long time, and provided the comfort factor that we required to sleep well. Once I arrived at the store, Kevin was so helpful both in showing me mattresses that he thought would work for both me and my husband but also providing us details on the materials of the mattress. We took our time trying out about six mattresses. We ended up really liking about 3 of them but ultimately it came down to two different ones made by Capitol Bedding. I am very happy to support a local business and buy a Michigan manufactured mattress. The mattress I chose was the Capitol Bedding Hadley Plush Hybrid. Mattress Mart provides a 90 day comfort guarantee as well in case you change your mind about the mattress. This place exceeded my expectations. My mom and I went in looking for a bed set for my mom. Kevin helped us out better than I ever could have expected. We were in the store for 2 hours. He answered all of our questions and concerns. Kevin was so very helpful that I ended buying a mattress set for myself. We even bought pillows and a mattress pad. Kevin was so very friendly, nice, professional and very knowledgeable about beds. I even called back today to order myself a 9” box spring for my mattress that I bought. He called the manufacturer right away to order it with my mattress order. This store has everything. We must of laid on 20 beds. Mark and another man came today to drop off the need for my mom. Mine comes on Friday. They were in and out in 7 minutes. Amazing service and very nice. They did a great job! Went in and looked at some mattresses and tried a few out. Ended up purchasing the mattress and the platform it was on just to find out the platform is not what is in the store. They place bunkie boards under the mattresses on the platform giving the mattress a different feel and makes the platform look stronger/better. Platform is only a mesh one and does not have a solid top. Even when tapping on the bunkie board (apparently for bunk beds as they told me on the phone) and saying yeah we would like this platform they did not inform us the board was not apart of it. I bought 4 of them. Boxes also don't come with picture of product so I did not discover this until the boxes were at home and opened. Verify what you buy here cause the board does make the mattress...
