This is my preferred theater to watch great movies and enjoy some popcorn with my family. I really believe the ownership tries to make it a great experience at this theater. I appreciate the rewards program as well. I would offer some feedback, however.
One of the great advantages of purchasing anything, including movie tickets online, is to avoid the human interaction requirement. Not necessarily because it’s unwanted, but rather to streamline the process, save valuable time, etc. This is why I make purchases online, and I’m willing to pay a fee in order to have the option to do so.
There exists an additional fee when buying tickets online at this location. Yet, I’m still required to stand in often times, a very long line just to get my tickets (no concessions items at first arrival). Again, this is the whole idea why I pay an extra few dollars and take the time to purchase online. This has to be modified so one doesn’t have to STILL be treated as though I’m buying my ticket at the actual theater. See the picture I’ve attached. I spent over 25 mins standing in this line JUST to get my tickets. I’m sorry, but this is unacceptable. Please provide a new method for being able to get into the theater without having to go through this debacle. I’m late to my movie unless I arrive at least 30 mins, if not more, ahead of time. I come to enjoy time with my family, not stand in a line for a quarter of the movie time just to get to our seats.
Second, please keep your concessions stand open until at least 3/4 the way through the entire movie. When I finally have digested my earlier dinner before the visit, and am ready for popcorn, candy, etc., I’ve gone out to get some only to be told that they are closed. This wasn’t even half way through the movie. You’ve often lost $30-$50 in purchases because of this (I have a large family). During our recent visit to watch The Chosen, the concession stand was closed even before the intermission period. Now that just doesn’t make any sense at all.
Again, thanks for being a great option, but please also seek ways to improve, not just your bottom line but also the customer experience for those that want to keep supporting you.
5/9/2024 I watched a movie with my boys again here last night. To my surprise, I now receive an email upon purchasing my ticket online. I was able to show this email (confirmation number) to the employee at the theater entrance who is responsible for taking tickets. No more waiting in line at the counter when you purchase your tickets online!!! This is such great news! Thank you to the owner/manager for recognizing the need for this change and improving the customer experience. You continue to be the best movie theater experience and even better now. Much...
Read moreUpdated: Recently went to see "Arthur the King" here. I didn't have high expectations based on my previous review (below). I was so pleasantly surprised. They have really cleaned this place up! Also, the popcorn was BLISSFUL! I actually only ordered a small because I just wanted to see if it was better than last time. It smelled better! Halfway through the movie, I ran out of popcorn and seriously considered going to buy another.
The theaters were clean. Not spotless, but that's unrealistic. It was clear that a deep cleaning happened at some point and they are maintaining that. I'm so glad I gave them another chance and will be back soon.
Previous review: Went with my wife to go see Peppermint at this theater. The movie sound and picture quality were great, but the popcorn here is disgusting. It's not even typical movie theater popcorn but more closely related to a styrofoam popcorn imposter. Seriously, you can't put enough butter on this stuff to even make it palatable! Also, it appeared that they swept down the rows of seats but not under them. There was a pile of crap almost an inch thick underneath the seats in front of us. This prompted me to check under my own seat and several others. It was the same under the other seats. It's as if they sweep all of the debris under the seats instead of sweeping it up. Maybe they clean better after they close, but the layer of greasy dirt begs otherwise. This is a nice little theater, but let's be honest...when you go to a movie, you want a nice tub of good popcorn and you don't want to have to worry about what may be living under your seat. A different popcorn supplier and a good, deep cleaning would easily have added another 2 stars to my review. This is the closest theater to my house, but I'll be making the drive to a different theater for my next...
Read moreToday was my first time at the battle ground cinema. To start with, my boyfriend made the mistake of pressing on the screen to choose your seats and the girl rudely said “it’s not touchscreen” while giving him a super dirty look. I know it states that right in the screen but it was our first time, and was a silly mistake… Then, we get to our seats and immediately there are two (can’t be more older than 13) sitting next to us (Rated R movie). I’m not a Karen & I definitely watched rated R movies when I was younger, and I would have had a problem if they weren’t being super disruptive. We got about 20 mins into the movie before eventually I asked them to “shh” and they both aggressively shushed me back, and began laughing lol. they were talking and laughing loudly, chewing loudly (after a while, on purpose at us) and just looking, talking and giggling. We let the workers know and they came and watched for a few moments. During this time they were still talking loudly and being disruptive. After about 10 more minutes me and my boyfriend got up and left.
On our way out the ladies at the front stopped us and asked if we wanted a refund, and my boyfriend stated yes because they’re not doing anything about the minors being disruptive. The worker said “well, they weren’t being loud when I was listening so’ which I was surprised because I was so sure she would’ve heard? The girls seemed bothered, even though they were the ones to stop and ask if we...
