Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Battle Ground

This is specifically for the Battle Ground location. Added more content below after 2nd visit to same location. Went in for dinner tonight were told they were out of spinach/romaine so had them make our salads with iceberg, then found they were out of Guacamole too??? While we were eating our meal they came out from the back with more Spinich and were filling to go orders with Guacamole??? Went to get a fork to eat my salad why it wasn't served with one I do not know but the self service station was empty notified the young man behind the counter that they were out of forks so he handed me two from behind the counter. All the while we were there nobody ever took the time to refill the forks even though they were not busy and kids were just standing around??? Not once did anyone from the back come out and clean tables why we were there even though several customers had came and went during our visit. Trying to shop local but might have to start patronizing a different Chipotle. Added: just lowered this rating to 1 Star decided to give them another chance several months later. Ordered the exact same Salad as last time. Noticed they seem to be really skimping on all the ingredients and for 16.00 it ought to at least fill the bowl. Get ready to pay and let them know they forgot the salad dressing and they then inform me they are out of salad dressing??? What.. why wouldn't they mention that when I first asked for a salad and before they started building it. So I'm supposed to eat my salad dry... Fool me once shame on me Fool me twice shame on you, I will never be back for a third. And that says a lot since I eat chipotle at least 3...

Food Their Asada is dry and doesn’t have any flavor. The shredded beef has good flavor. The food seemed fresh enough as it probably sat all morning just by the look and taste of the dry asada. tasted was overall good.

Service The service was lacking. It wasn’t busy I was the only customer, but I felt like I might’ve been a nuisance due to the tone of the greeting and the mannerisms of the employees. I asked for chips at the register from another cashier, and she told me that they ran out and they have just enough for delivery and pick up only. I guess you have to be there at the right time to get a new batch of chips is what I was getting from her.

Atmosphere When I walked in, I felt that no one wanted to be there, which I probably understand because it’s food service. Whoever manages this chipotle should try to keep morale up and motivate them. Maybe they aren’t getting treated like they should but I’m not for sure. The place was clean, which is a good sign, and I appreciate the effort.

My summary is overall is chipotle is a good choice but it needs some improvement and I believe the management needs to be more hands-on, but treat the employees well so that they have some incentive to create a positive environment. I know what you're thinking. "Chipotle is garbage!" Well let me tell you it doesn't have to be, IF you know how to game their system. First off, don't even dream of door dash or even using their drive thru. You must first-hand supervise or it will be awful, guaranteed. Second, if you allow problems to arise, there is NO WAY TO CALL THE STORE. Yes really. The number will not reach the store associates so settle up right before getting in your car. Third, don't be set on any specific meat option. You want what looks the best, not what costs the least or fits your preferences. Every time I've been, there are at least 3 meat options that are old to the point of being entirely inedible. And lastly, rice and beans are both included and calorie dense. They apparently don't train portion control at Chipotle because there is zero consistency between employees. Feel free to ask for a little bit more of either or both if you get someone who hates rolling tight burritos. Is it a good restaurant? Hell, no!
