Several agencies I dealt with used their service and my experiences were nothing but awful. On several occasions I wasn’t able to get past the introduction due to a technical issue on the interpreter’s end or the interpreter lashing out and hanging up after a request to speak up because he spoke too softly. And there are disgruntled interpreters that would sigh prior to each dialogue or repeat comments like “I can’t translate all that”. I’d try to overlook all the impudent manner if I got the service I needed, but the interpreters also communicated wrong information or omitted parts of the dialogue as they seemed necessary. It’s ridiculous these people get paid for doing this.

Read moreThe service, like so many things right now, appears incredibly short staffed. I scheduled an appointment to do a video conference with a client. Appointment was canceled by languagelink apparently because they could not find a translator. So instead tried to do an On Demand, live translation. But they Can’t do that over Zoom, or over their weird video conferencing thing. For some reason they can only call the person. Really dumb and their customer service is awful. Had to wait over an hour to see why they canceled the appointment I had scheduled. They wouldn’t talk to them unless I could provide a “job ID” which is apparently different than the 2 different codes I could get online in relation to the...
Read moreThey make things really easy! Our state agency uses them both to translate phone calls with our clients and to translate documents for our clients. We've used other companies for this and they cannot compare. Language Link is so professional and helpful, and quick too. They communicate well and if we ever have a question I hear back right away. Bids are super-quick, their work is reasonable and thorough, and our billing has never gotten messed up like it has elsewhere. State agencies have exacting standards for getting bids, tracking services, and paying invoices, and I never have to hunt down the paperwork I need. I honestly love doing...
