We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge this past weekend and had the opportunity to be served by Victoria in the Victoria Falls Lounge..We noticed a drink called the African Rum Runner featured on one the the menus posted at the elevator and it sounded pretty delicious.. Unfortunately we were unable to procure one before dinner as they only offered it in the Boma dining restaurant which didn't open until later.. no worries, we came back after dinner (another great story to share) and tried to get one but no luck.. Boma was full and they sent us to the pool bar but they were closed so we decided to do without. Stopped back at the lounge to see Victoria, she remembered us and went out of her way to accommodate our wishes.. she returned with two absolutely delicious African Rum Runners and service was top notch for our entire party. Read moreCame here one evening we didn't have a reservation and absolutely fell in love. The team was very attentive, and all of our drinks were phenomenal. But the food is what sent us. We literally cancelled our Boma reservations one evening because we couldn't stop thinking about going back.
The duck drumettes had a lot of meat on them and were very mild. The Braai Burger was perfection. A great balance of flavors with the sharp pickle, sweet jam, and smoky braai seasoning. And the slap chips were fresh and sweet and funky. So full of flavor.

The burger here is the best I've had on disney property by a mile overtaking steakhouse 71 which has a solid burger. The bartender Joe took pride in the drinks and we had fantastic cocktails come out consistently from the bar all night.
