My daughter is 7 and I've always had her in Stride Rites, but she's playing basketball now and was complaining of heel pain, so I thought I better get her some "real" athletic shoes with some support. She's tall for her age and wears bigger shoes, so I wanted to get her fitted to make sure I was buying the right size, and I wanted to talk to someone who knows about shoes to be sure I was getting something good. I called another popular national chain and they told me they don't fit kids her age. Then I went looking online and stumbled on this place. When we got there, we were promptly seen, fitted, and set up with a fantastic shoe for the activities she's in. I discovered when it was time to settle up that it was the owner, Jeff, who had been taking care of us, and he reduced the price of the shoes by a considerable amount since they were for my daughter's growing feet. Btw, she's in a kids 4, which I learned that day is also a women's 6... a very common size that the popular national chain would have certainly had. The person I spoke to on the phone from that store didn't want to bother with fitting a kid... so Arthur's got our business, and thanks to our amazing experience there, can look forward to us returning whenever we need new shoes. A final note... my daughter has not complained of any heel pain since we bought her new Sauconys, and...
Read moreMy daughter tasked me with the unpleasant experience of finding tennis shoes my granddaughter liked and would wear. She is probably the pickiest and hard to fit 7 year old in the world. I had taken her on several excursions, tried on over 50 pairs of shoes with no luck and many tears. ( Both mine and hers). She wouldnât even put on the second shoe of any pair. Out of desperation I googled â kids shoe store Cleveland.â One of the hits was Arthurâs shoe tree. It had great reviews so I headed there. ( I live over an hour away so you know I was desperate). I explained to the owner everything she hated about all the other shoes she had tried on. He measured her feet, went in the back and came out with 9 pairs of shoes. She tried on both shoes of every pair and walked in them all. She quickly picked her favorite and grandma bought them. What a fantastic experience!! It was the most enjoyable stress free shoe buying experience I have ever had with her. I just relaxed and let the owner handle it all!! I will be back with her every time she needs new shoes. If you have a picky kid donât even bother going anywhere else. Very nice selection of quality shoes at reasonable prices for the whole family. Donât miss...
Read moreNever thought that I would be giving comments about a shopping experience. For well over 20 years I have had the good fortune to shop at Arthur's Shoe Tree primarily with the previous owner, Jerry. I dared to venture into Bay Village this week in search of quality shoes which Arthur's has been known to offer their customers. I had searched several styles prior to making my appointment with Jeff and when I entered the store Jeff immediately greeted me and his sales skills took over. Saying that i was impressed doesn't begin to tell the level of customer service that i received. Jeff took the time to make sure I was getting the exact shoes to meet my specific needs and he comes from the back room with about 12 offerings! That's impressive as he said we would find the exact shoes for me to purchase. He did his job above and beyond and if individuals would just be able to witness his customer service style and how he cares more about the customer. As you probably know, I am a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. Great Job!! (and yes, he...
