LBI Book Swap — Local services in Beach Haven

A great little book shop on LBI that also accepts used books in exchange for discounts. There’s a section for children’s books, an area for new titles for adults, and then two areas where you can buy used books- most are between $5-$8.

When you bring in used books they give you a discounts- so 8 books “swapped” means you get to buy 8 books at a discounted price. 10% off new and 25% off used. They give you a card so that you can go back at a later time.

I just finished writing a 3 paragraph negative review about a horrible experience I had last night. Then when I finished writing it, I felt bad for the girl who was working. Maybe she had a bad night, maybe she’s having a bad year, I don’t know. But I won’t put her on blast on the internet.

A hidden gem in the Beach Haven area 😍, I really love this place, they have a big collection of new and used books, I think they just need a touch of organizing, if they make a list of the books that exist on every shelf-unit and fix it on that shelf unit, and do the same for all the shelf-units that carry used books, that way it will be very much easier for customers to check the books the book store has and even buy more instead of feeling lost between the big...
