Today, my family and I visited Bay Village Pizza with high hopes for a satisfying meal, as my family and I have been loyal customers for 20+ years, including our 2 visits in the last 2 days alone. But unfortunately, my experience today left us frustrated and disappointed. We ordered a whole pizza, cheese fries, and drinks as usual, and encountered a shocking surprise in our food. As I picked up what should have been a fry, I discovered a large METAL SCREW embedded in it. This unexpected addition not only ruined our appetite but also raised serious concerns about the kitchen's hygiene and quality control standards. When I brought this issue to the attention of the employees, instead of addressing the problem with urgency and concern, they were dismissive and unapologetic. Even refusing a refund. Their lack of accountability was disappointing and frankly unacceptable. Not only did they fail to make right of the situation, but they also showed no empathy for the inconvenience and potential health risk caused. Employees could have resolved the situation by offering a refund of the entire meal or even offering genuine apology, but they failed to do so, resulting in the loss of loyal customer business. $50 meal refund would have been cheaper than a lawsuit if a child were to have eaten that before it was discovered. I would have given the business another chance if the situation was handled correctly, but I will never return....
Read moreBay Village Pizza is one of those must-visit spots when you’re in Beach Haven. The thin-crust, New York–style slices are everything you hope for—crispy edges, melty cheese, and a sauce that hits the sweet-savory balance just right. The slices are huge, so one or two can easily hold you over after a day of shopping in Bay Village or relaxing by the water.
Service is quick, even when they’re busy, which makes it great for a fast lunch or grab-and-go dinner. I also appreciate that they keep things simple—no overly complicated menu, just solid pizza and a few extras like fries or specialty pies if you’re in the mood.
The location can’t be beat, the atmosphere is casual, and the smell of fresh pizza alone will pull you in. Prices are a bit higher than your corner pizza shop back home, but you’re paying for quality and the convenience of a prime shore location.
The only downside is that I’ve read about a few rare mishaps with food safety that I hope are fully addressed—thankfully, my own experience was nothing but positive.

Read moreNo frills, walk-up pizza joint. Quite popular so it gets pretty busy. Expect to wait even if the line is not that long. Seems to be located smack in the middle of everything in Beach Haven (Bay Village, Fantasy Island, waterpark and mini golf). Simple menu. Walk-up to the window, place your order, give your name and wait to be called. They have a few tables in a porch-style seating area off to the side. Plain slices start at $4. Pizza was alright, not bad by any means but not sure if it was worth the wait. If there were half ratings this place would get a 3.5 but since there aren't, I will give them...
