The Coffee Bouteaque — Restaurant in Beach Haven

Very disappointed & frustrated. We order juices from here often & they're always very good. Today (day after Fourth of July) we ordered 3 different types of juices. When I showed up to pick up the order, they told a customer that they had closed the juice bar because they were all out of the ingredients for the day.

Got home & we tried the juices - the Green-ade detox was so tart and acidic that we honestly couldn't drink it. The De bloat-onator also lacked the flavor it normally has. They ended up giving me the Refresher juice and said they did end up having the last ingredient, despite over the phone telling me earlier when I called for pickup that they didn't have it. They did offer it to me for free, which was kind, but I offered to pay anyway.

I feel really bad writing this review, because I assume that they were running low on certain ingredients and trying to make the best of it. But I hate getting ripped off. All of the juices literally just tasted like kale, ginger, and lemon.

Coffee Bouteaque: you have really good coffee and juices - but if you don't have certain ingredients, don't charge me full price for the juice I guess? Just call and apologize to say that you won't be able to make the drink. IDK. I know what it's supposed to taste like and this ain't it. Do better.

My advice to others - maybe don't order the day after a holiday like I did or make sure to order earlier in the day. At least they don't use old, not fresh...

Unplug from the "ordinary" and enjoy "extraordinary" at the Coffee Bou"tea"que. When I think of what I enjoy most in life, it's the simple things. Coffee is one of them. However, it must be special...every time. Dunkin Donuts won't do it, neither will the "trendy" Starbucks. The Coffee Bou"tea"que does it for me. The quality of their coffee is superb, and fulfilling . Its one of those "golden nuggets"..the whole experience of being there adds to my simple pleasure in life. It's my escape from the mundane..even if its just a few minutes of my time. I look forward to enjoying that time for myself....it touches all of my senses. ..the heavenly smell of their "in house" roasting...the rustic ambiance, the interaction of really great people, the relaxing music, and of course, the wonderful choices of coffees, and phenomenal organic juice smoothies. It really is one of those special "finds" in life tgat makes your day complete. I definitely recommend stopping by and visiting this...

Coffee is good, when they grind the beans and pour over While you wait but they don’t always do that sometimes it just comes from a carafe and you never know which way you’re going to get it. Also when the owner is there he is very nice but when he’s not there and the other workers are they can be kind of rude, they just ignore you, the ordering system is very confusing you can be standing there waiting for five minutes while all the workers are doing other things and nobody will ask you if you need help and then if you’re not standing in the right spot they’ll just ignore you, when I asked if I could get a coffee he tells me I have to order from the other side, where there was no one working , instead of just taking my order it’s not like there was a line or anything. Good coffee but definitely needs a better system and more...
