Crossroads Bowling Center — Local services in Beaumont

Went in to establishment today at noon. 2 workers at desk; they were both very nice and friendly. I told them i had medical disability and thus exempt from facial coverings (whether you like and agree with it or not, this is the law). These 2 were fine with this. One checked with the assistant manger. She was not okay with this. She tried to send the worker back and forth to talk to me. I asked to talk to her directly. Ultimately, she came out to talk to me and said they were a private business and everyone MUST wear a mask. I related to her i have a legitimate medical disability and showed her proof of such. She said it didn't matter and they did not have to accommodate such. I again relayed to her that just as a service dog must be accommodated (under ADA), so too must people with legitimate medical disabilities. She said she was told there would be NO accommodation. I asked for her name and she would not give it to me. I get they are a private business but they still MUST follow the law. I have filed a formal complaint with the state Attorney general. For the record, there was absolutely ZERO other customers in there...so keeping a 6' distance would have been so easy to do. Very...

If I could give 0 stars I would. The workers here are lazy and close down the store 2-3 hours before close on days they don’t want to work. I come here often, Fridays and Saturdays they’re always open til at least midnight. I call yesterday (Friday evening) to make sure they’re open that late and they tell me they close at 11 and they’ve been closing at 11 for months, straight up lying. Every time I come here the workers are rude and act like they’re incapable of doing anything other than taking 15 minutes at the computer and handing you shoes. They also will cram you in between a huge ass birthday party when half the bowling alley is open. There’s usually never anyone behind the bar, or snack bar after dark.( I work til about sundown so I don’t come during the day often). Like I said they hate doing their jobs at this place. Seems to have no management or incompetent managers. If this place was ran properly and cleaned house on its bottom of the barrel employees Beaumont might actually have a few different decent spots to go bowling besides main event...

Was there this past Saturday for a birthday party. Awful. Party was at 3 and I got there early. Thankfully I did because the tables were disgusting and had pitchers from the previous people still on it. The floor was SOOOO sticky when I walked, it literally pulled my shoe off. I had to ask for someone to mop it. During that time I found a rag and spray bottle and wiped the tables myself. The front desk people were flustered, not their fault, but needed to have an actual manager for assistance. The lanes were booked for two hours. They said our time started when we got the shoe, but it took forever to get the shoes so the time started about 40 minutes later. We barely had an hour and a half. The boy helping us (I didn't get his name) was at least trying to help and accommodate. Thank you sir. And let's not forget how the bartender was smoking a pot pen right behind the bar. Not even one with a hidden smell. It reeked of weed and could be smelled all over the guest area in front and towards the kitchen. This place is awful. $400 for a...
