Went at 10p on a Sunday night. This is not a low-key, chill place. It's a club atmosphere, about a million decibels too loud to just chill and chat. Even outside it was too loud to talk without yelling a bit, and we're the only ones out there.
You've gotta yell at the door guys just to barely hear each other. Wanded and patted down, $10 cover, $35 minimum for hookah.
I tried to order food, but the kitchen closed early, which they told us 15 mins after we ordered. They didn't have most of the beers listed on the menu. The server disappeared and we had to go hunt her down. When we did, she forgot about us again and failed to drop off the drink, which was wrong to boot. In her defense, it got real busy, but she never came by our table again.
Hip-hop isn't really my jam, but it's fine as long as it's not louder than a 747 at takeoff. Personally, the insane volume in a small room is a deal breaker. GF says they've got a cute restroom, but the handicap stall lock is broken.
Hookah was good, if a little expensive, and that's the best I can say about it. Go...
Read moreMy beautiful wife and I had great experience at Fuma Dubai! The service was excellent, and Evelyn was especially delightful with her warm smile and positive attitude. She made everyone feel welcome and was very attentive to our needs.
The drinks were well-made, and the Mixed Grill plate was fantastic. The lamb kabobs were succulent, and the beef tips and chicken kabobs were delicious as well. The Mediterranean rice and pita were the best I’ve had, although I might have just been really hungry!
The atmosphere had a laid-back vibe, with a hip-hop influence that made it enjoyable. If you're looking for something different and new, I definitely recommend giving it a try—you'll appreciate their welcoming hospitality.
Additionally, I noticed that they have plenty of security on the premises, which is a smart move considering that things can be unpredictable in Beaumont, Texas.
Overall, I would rate Fuma Dubai...
Read moreI went around 7:30 pm. The floors were dirty, gnats were flying. The pre dj music was blah. I ordered the smash burger because of all the good reviews. I didn’t care for the burger but the fries were delicious. My drink was okay, it could have been stronger. Others complained about their drinks. The dj was nice, and played a great mix of music. Around 9:30 pm the younger crown began to arrive. With young folks comes disrespectful behavior. We left there and finished our night at Nell’s. It was my first time visiting and it will be my last. It isn’t a bad place for someone who’s young and turnt, however I’m 42yrs young. It’s a NO for me. It isn’t for the...
