Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Beaumont

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience Tokyo. It took 45inites to receive my teriyaki beef lunch order and it was ice cold by the time it got to me. I never received the additional salad I ordered on the side. My fiancé received his seafood salad and received his order rather quickly. We both reviewed our onion soup quickly. Our waiter seemed hungover, mumbling to us and disappearing forong stretches. When he took my order back and brought us the bill, he only credited the meal but not the salad I never received. We brought it to his attention, but he had already run the card. He sighed and asked if we would just accept a salad to-go, and I told him that I did not want it. So he sighed and asked if we wanted a refund, which is the only obvious other choice. He then disappeared for 10 minutes and finally returned with the corrected receipt and mumbled something incohetent as he was walking away. I'm not a regular customer, so they're not losing much business with me, but they also did not gain a customer today. Very disappointing experience and a complete waste of an hour for me (no meal). I like the food at place alot so the food is not the issue! The food is great. Today on my lunch break I ubered to this place like always but when it was time to pay I reached in my pocket and realized I didn't have my debit card no problem right I can just use tap to pay...I've seen this location take tap before the young man says our tap to pay system is down... I can only take a regular card... I ubered back to work hungry and upset so I call and ask how could tap be down and the regular system work well the manager David says they are told to say it's down so people can't dispute charges. So I'm mad that they lied to and don't offer tap if you are going to pick and choose who uses. I never feel welcome here it's always the same young man who helps me and he is very unkind but the Food is good so I look over things. I'm upset about being lied to then the attitude of the manager of 18 years is basically we don't care how you feel. I adked for a different manager someone who cares but i was told he was on vacation...

I quote my Wife, " We will never eat here again" after eating at one of her favorite restaurants. We were seated, A few minutes later we ordered our drinks and a crunch roll, the table next to us was seated about 10 minutes after us, they ordered their drinks and a crunch roll, about 15 minutes later the table next to us got their crunch roll, 10 minutes later we received our roll, about 30 minutes later we received our plates(Hibachi Scallops and Teriyaki Steak) with steam coming off the plates, I dive into my first Scallop and its barely warm, I grab a scrimp and ice cold(not sure if was supposed to be, but I was expecting a hot grilled shrimp), the vegetables were the only thing that was hot. My wife dives into her plate with a piece of steak, looks at me in disgust, she chews and chews and chews, Says that "this is like chewing a cold rubber tire" Neither one of us finished our food and did not even want to go boxes. An expensive meal for one of the worst meals I have ever had at...
