I recently went to the location in Beaumont with my 6 kids and 3 of their friends. The kids were really excited to go as their friends have never been to the store before. Upon check out we had about 30 items. A glass bottle from the fridge had popped open and One of the kids accidentally dropped a flower pot while putting it in the bag. He was nervous because one of the employees who claimed to be the General Manager, Yvette was already upset that the kids were even in there and she followed them around the store and was not nice to them. So Yvette took all of the items that I had already scanned and bagged at the self scanner, and made us go to the counter to re scan all of it. Even though she watched us like a hawk. The entire time she was rude and hateful. She was staring at my 8 year old with the meanest glare Iâd ever seen, then proceeded to stare at me while the young man rang up the items. I looked back at her and she said âMaâam is there something youâd like to sayâ
So I asked her if there was something she wanted to say, since she was staring at me. Then she proceeded to get loud and say âit seems like you have a problemâ and I told her âwell youâve been rude the entire time so I think youâre the one with the problem.â She proceeded to get loud in front of the other employee and a customer. I told her to be professional and she continued to argue with me. She was being aggressive and told me that she could kill me when I asked her if she wanted to step outside and handle the issue. Then she told the employee to stop ringing up my items and not give them to me.
My children are mortified. The children who I had with me are mortified. Their parents are not happy that your employee acted the way she did and neither am I. I have recommended several people to this store before this incident and I have never had an issue. Iâve also never seen Yvette before. I called after I left to speak to a general manager and she claimed she was.
This was an embarrassing incident, and at the end of the day, your employer did not act professional and didnât handle the situation as she...
Read moreI went on opening day and it was fabulous. I was lucky enough to be in the first 100 to get a free goody bag. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The store was large and bright, and clean. I've been to several daisos throughout the state, and this is definitely one of the larger ones. I'm so excited to have one in Beaumont. If you've never been to a Daiso, it's essentially a Japanese Dollar Store. There are kitchen supplies, stationary, accessories, snacks, makeup, toys and more. Definitely check out this great new store. You'll find something new and interesting every...
Read moreGenuinely fascinating little store. Everything is priced in yen, and using the little cost charts at the ends of the isles is a slight annoyance. Tons of stuff that will have you going "I never knew I needed this" until you're looking at it. Everything seems priced...
