Highly disappointed in this location. My boyfriend and I went in yesterday afternoon and looked at the menu, the two girls that were in the front werenât very welcoming and didnât care to explain the menu to two people who were still obviously new to this concept so we ordered a pineapple slush for me and an Oreo based drink for him. Now, my boyfriend previously ordered from the Kung Fu Panda promotion menu and in their defense the promotion is over so he wasnât able to get that exact drink which is no problem. However, he did explain to the girl that the last drink he tried was a slush consistency and had Oreos, he wanted to know which ones would sort of fit that description. Both of the girl just sat and looked at us clueless and shrugged their shoulders. We got our drinks and as we walked back to the car my boyfriend tasted his drink and frowned. He said the drink was warm and had boba, I took it back in and truthfully I was upset because we asked you what would be the same consistency as the slush and you acted clueless and didnât say anything when we ordered something that wasnât what he was describing. I did explain my issue to the girls at the front as well. The girls could have easily said something like âhey just so you know that is a boba tea youâre ordering and not a slush like you asked forâ I asked for something in exchange and again the two girls looked at each other, shrugged, and said âwell since we technically already made it we wonât make something differentâ. My aim isnât to get something for free, I just expected better customer service. If youâre too afraid of interaction with the general public then maybe they need to find a different job that works behind the scenes. Wonât be...
Read moreThe customer service was ok, they were nice but not so knowledgeable about if they had any sour/tart flavors. I even asked (over the phone) what the cocoa cream wow milk cap was all chocolate or just the top of the milk cap and it took a couple tries to figure that out. Apparently they donât have all flavors that are on the website it goes by area which was ehh. The drinks are very high priced in my opinion. I tried the Sunshine pineapple tea cap, added brown sugar wow (which was warm ) I didnât know if it was supposed to be. it threw the cold drink completely off and I also added pudding. Idk if it was all the add onsâ but there was bearly any tea in the drink at all. It was all warm brown sugar wow. My bf brought it to me, so he didnât try the drinks till he got to my house and I even strained the stuff out to see how much tea was in there and it was about 2/3 of the milk cap with however much tea was mixed in there. I tried to call to see if I could get a resolution and no one answered. My bf drink was not bad, maybe someone elseâs cup of tea...
Read moreKung Fu Tea is in Beaumont, woohoo, I was so excited to find out thereâs a legitimate bubble tea shop in town not to mention itâs a pretty famous chain. I had a winter melon tea with bubble which is a traditional Taiwanese soft drink. If you donât like anything with dairy but feel like something similar to sweet tea this is it!
You get to choose your desirable amount of sugar and ice for some of the drinks which is pretty standard for any bubble tea shop. The boba was cooked just right, chewy and flavorful. Staff were pretty friendly, greeted us as soon as we walked in the store. Store atmosphere was nice and casual, a great hangout spot for small group friends gathering.
All in all, I would highly recommend to anyone who love a good cup of bubble tea and who has never tried...
