I visited this store about a couple weeks ago doing my shopping for Mother’s Day early to avoid the crowd and better selection while everything is still in stock. The visit went great and I left there and spent over $100 worth of items that day. I’ve had that bag sitting in my closet this whole time until today which is the day before mother days to actually start looking at everything I had purchased and realized that the pop up card does not have a CARD in there but just the envelope. I was so confused and of course the first thing I thought about was me potentially getting scammed at hallmark lol. Of course I knew it just had to be a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes. Understandable. I called and the employee was Gabi answered the phone she had asked me questions and verified to me that they had sold me a display card. I said ok cool, I’ll just run back up there and exchange it out but no, she said they no longer have that card in stock so that’s the first disappointment ok. Let me mind you, I haven’t got any type of apology for their mistake. I agreed to just run up there and get a refund. I brought the card back in very disappointed because I definitely did love that card that I first purchased. No type of apology once more in person for the mishap. Gabi helped me process my refund but couldn’t run my receipt due to some type of technical issue which is also understandable but now I left with no proof of my refund and I left without my card I wanted in the first place. Overall experience: Poor. Couldn’t it been a lot better if the employees gave me that closure for the accidental mishap? Absolutely! Continued to look around with the intent of purchasing a belated gift. Again had to request assistance. The price of the item I had interest in purchasing was not known and I was told it would have to be scanned.
