Honey-B-Ham — Restaurant in Beaumont

Recently, April 12, 2019, I had a taste for a spiral ham sandwich from Honey B Ham. I looked them up to obtain their phone number and make a to go order. I dialed them and was met with a very pleasant voice and immediately asked to hold, after she identified the company. I agreed to a brief hold. What I did not expect was to be placed on hold for nearly 17 minutes! In the time I held the phone I was able to drive to the restaurant to order/pick up my food. As I turned into their drive way I saw the sign that stated they were “open”. So I hurriedly entered to order, I noticed they closed at 3 pm on the website. I enter the store and notice 2 customers and 2 staff. I approach the counter to order and to ask about their policy for phone orders. I explain to the counter person that I’ve been on hold for 16 minutes and 58 seconds; I even showed her my phone because I was STILL on hold. Her response to me was priceless: “I just forgot!” Wow, I was floored! I knew my stomach was growling and I needed to move past that to order this sandwich. I proceed to state my order and she tells me “we do not take food orders after 2:00!” Excuse me! She repeated it. So now I’ve wasted 17 minutes on hold only to drive over and still cannot be served!!!! What type of service is this??!! Needless to say, I take my hungry self back to my car and write this review. It is for the above stated reason that I give them 1 star. Great Customer service goes much further than good...

First time here! Service was good, food didn't take long and the place was very cozy on in the inside. I got the turkey and cheese + the Philly. Both sandwiches were really good, especially enjoyed the Philly. Highly recommend getting it with the au jus!

With a 15% tip I ended up paying $27.83 for two sandwiches and two bags of chips. It felt a tad pricey taking the portion size into account, but I liked the quality of the ingredients and really enjoyed the food so I won't be a hater when it comes to price!

First time was today.. got the gumbo and wasn’t satisfied.
