I'm not usually into posting one star reviews, but I felt this one was warranted. Yesterday I was quoted, and agreed to $198 to exchange a set of tires between vehicles and to get a synthetic oil change on one of the vehicles. I'm told they aren't busy so they can get this knocked right out.
After leaving, I get a call that there is a lug nut lock on the wheels of one vehicle (I just bought it from a friend and was unaware of this) but that they can just cut them off. No discussion of additional cost was had. I was also informed that they had already looked in all the compartments for the key.
I call a few times to try and figure out when the vehicle will be done. The first time I'm placed on a 10 minute hold while a different employee "looks into it" meanwhile I'm listening to an obnoxious corporate upsell message repeating the phrase (That's a Big O No! Well we've got a Big O yes!" in varying forms over and over) for 10 minutes. I hang up and call back. Placed on hold again. Finally get the same guy who finds the other employee and I'm told I can pick up the vehicle and it'll be done by the time I get there.
I arrive and wait 20 minutes for the still not done vehicle. Meanwhile, I'm presented with a bill for $370. A significant discrepancy from the $198 I was quoted. There was a $105 charge for removing the wheel nuts (never discussed) and a remaining not part of the original quote I was provided. I explained that this was not what I was originally quoted, I was told I was wrong and tough luck, essentially.
The other vehicle was left locked outside. When I picked it up later, I found greasy footprints ground into my carpet, and all of my internal compartments opened, doors and contents askew. You guys didn't even have the courtesy to put back what you took out while rifling through my compartments without even asking me first? You didn't even put valve stem caps on all the wheels. Lastly you didn’t address the tire pressure sensors as I requested.
I live locally and have bought a few sets of wheels and tires from you in the past. Never again. Not after your callous disregard of your customers and their property. I'll use one of the myriad other tire shops nearby from now on and will encourage others to do the same. There are plenty of other tire shop options in Vail, Avon, and all along the Eagle...
Read moreI came in Friday 10/23/2020 morning to get new tires installed. My car was given to me very late that day and didn’t get a chance to look at my car.
The paper I received said my car was running perfectly fine and the tires were full to 35 PSI.
What caught my attention was that the tires were full of nitrogen. I was never told that my tires were going to be filled with nitrogen.
By Early Saturday morning I drove my car to Walmart when some lights turned on that said service tire monitor system When I got off of my car I thought my tires were slashed or broken but everything was fine.
The car started to tell me that the tire PSI were at 47. I headed back to Big O Tires and explained my problem to a worker there of the hispanic who told me his name was Gil He told me that they only needed to take out the pressure from the nitrogen and that they needed to restart the sensors and that it was going to turn off the lights from my car. He also told me to take my car down to the mechanics’ workshop so they could fix it. When I got down to their workshop I explained my problem to the mechanics.
Two Hispanic mechanics there who unfortunately didn’t want to give me their names not only did not want to do the work but they also started making fun of me. Saying that my car was very old and that my car was brought To them with the lights on. I also have to mention that my car is a 2018 and had never gotten it’s tires changed and had no problem whatsoever. We had to remove the nitrogen ourselves and when we checked it with a tire pressure gauge it marked that it was at 50PSI That’s what caused my tire pressure sensor to break.
When anything is wrong with my car ,the dealer sends me an email telling me that something when the tires are low. I had received an email around 2-3 pm on Friday saying that my car had a low tire but I didn’t have my car that day since it was at the workshop.
I left my car there at 8 am Friday morning and didn’t get it back till 6 pm that day. I was told that my number was going to be given to the manager of the store so they could help fix the sensor. I don’t get...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted about the customer service. I got an oil change and they did not put the skit plate underneath my car back on properly. 5 minutes after leaving the shop it comes off while I was driving. The manager said he would purchase another part for me, but that it was on back order for a while since my car was new. I was patient and understanding and waited a while for a call back. For the time being they zip-tied the skit plate back under my car. Winter rolls around and the snow takes off one of the zip-ties. I came back to Big O and told them I cannot drive like this so just take it off. Asked if there was an ETA on the part that I ordered and they didn't have an ETA. I called back a month later and asked for an ETA and an gentleman at the front told me November or December 2020. February 2021 rolls around and I have not received a call at all. I called and asked about my part and he said he will look into it and call me back.... of course never got a call back. I called AGAIN and he said IT WAS NEVER ORDERD!!! Almost a year coming up since this incident happened and you are telling me it was never ordered ????? He supposedly looks up the part and says it is on back order. I asked him if I find it somewhere else and purchase it will you give me a refund. And he told me YES we will reimburse you. I called Honda dealership in Glenwood Springs and they have the part and can get it to me in 2 days. How is it that I was able to call Honda once and find the part in 5 minutes that easily, but it is taking a year for Big O to get me my part???? I asked the the new manager the following day for reimbursement and he says "why are we even refunding you for this part?" ... so we are going to act like we don't know what has been going on for the past year? I have NEVER in my life have had such a difficult time talking to an auto shop. I truly fell like I am talking to a wall. I have been nice, patient, and understanding for so long and to be treated this way is absolutely disgusting. DO NOT GO HERE TAKE YOUR...
