Megan and her crew were so great to work with. I do not look like the typical biker as I am very overweight and out of shape but they didn't give me the feeling they were judging me in the least. They just wanted me to find the right bike to get me back out doing what I used to love doing. They let me try a few bikes and then sent me on the right track with one they didn't have in the store in my size so they told me to order from the Trek website. I had the bike sent to them and they got the bike to me in great time so I had enough time to ride the bike and make sure it was ok for me with the 30 day trial the Trek gives when you buy through Trek website. My sister and bro-in -law were with me the day we were looking for bikes and we all walked out of that store saying this is a store that cares and is going to try and make me happy. They have helped me find so much joy again riding. I bought the Trek Rail 7 Gen 2 and am having a blast being back on single track. ...
Read moreHorrible tune service. Came in to get my front and rear suspension tuned because I have little experience thus far with full suspension mountain bikes. They added air to the rear shock then proceeded to tell me that the Front shock (a bomber MX Comp) was all spring shock and "Not adjustable." So.... someone who is 125 pounds and someone who is 165 pounds is essentially stuck with the same front suspension settings. Well when they returned the bike to me I knew this sounded like BS. Went home and looked through the fork's manual and found that, low and behold, the right side of the fork is air and the left is spring. When I questioned the bike mechanic, before leaving the store, about how he knows its not an air shock his response was "there is so nipple to add air to" which I found to be incorrect after reading the manual. Aside from this blunder they were uninformative and seemed generally un-knowledgeable. DO NOT GET...
Read moreI can’t thank Megan and John enough for their patience with my purchase! I went in the store multiple times asking the same question until I pulled the trigger on a new bike. Never once did they make me feel badly about “pestering” them. They always answered with a smile and encouraged me to buy the bike when I was ready. They understood that buying a bike is big investment and let me make my decision when I was ready. To be honest I had previously visited another local store and their lack of interest in helping me made me appreciate Pedal Power that much more. I got my new bike, I’m so excited about it and can’t thank you enough for being so kind, patient, helpful, warm and understanding. Everyone should be shopping at...
