If I could give negative starts I would. Where do I start, we’ve had service with MC for well over 15 yrs the quality of service has been going downhill for a while. We are not there 7 months of the year but still they are to service to spa. This past June I noticed mold and murky water right after they serviced to spa. So I called because the picture they sent us was not a recent picture. The technician did not clean our spa and he took an old photo of when it was clean to send to us. I know this because I saw him come and go decided to go down and check and it was dirty nothing I would want to jump into let alone any guests. I spoke with an assistant mgr who promised to take care of it, and a no show didn’t fix anything. After multiple attempts to get in touch with the owner who was out of the country we were told, said a refund would be issued from June to December since we as customers are expected to pay in advance. We’ve never heard from MC regarding the refund of approximately $600.00 but they had the nerve to send out a Merry Christmas email. Not so funny part is it reminded us that they owe us the refund so we tried to respond to their customer service email and it says non working email. Not SURPRISED!! We switched services and when we are back in town I will be heading to your shop to once again warn people of the lack of scruples you have. This picture was after they said they drained and scrubbed within 15 minutes exactly the same as before they arrived for the cleaning. I ran into our neighbor and just by chance they said they were having problems with their cleaning service ( Maximum Comfort) and they had to have them back out because it was dirty and also murky. Their spa was 1 yr old barely!! Consumer beware. Should Maximum Comfort decide to correct this situation I will...
Read moreWhen anyone experiences poor customer service (or good customer service), it always is a result of the ownership / management. At MCPS the owner, Michael Charles, has created a culture where the customer is no longer important after the sale of the product. The last time MCPS came to service my hot tub for a leak, the service tech showed up totally unannounced, fixed the leak but left the tub empty despite a water spigot located 15’ away. This left the tub empty for days until I returned in the middle of February, and then I had to finish the repair spending 2 hours filling and adjusting the water chemistry. As anyone knows leaving a hot tub empty in the middle of winter can cause major problems. All of this could have been avoided with a simple phone call. Then they sent me a bill even though the hot tub was under warranty. When I brought this up to the Owner, GM and Service Manager, the communication is so poor, they would not return my emails or calls. This is only 1 example of the poor customer service / communication I have experienced after purchasing $30k worth of products from MCPS. Be careful buying any products from this company as they will not properly service or communicate with their customers after the...
Read moreI purchased a Hot Springs Spa with the Ace system from Maximum Comfort Pool and Spa in 2016. I also have had a service contract with Maximum Comfort Pool and Spa for almost the entire time I have owned it. The spa is at a second home I live in about half the year. I count on the spa to work and to be maintained properly to keep the water clean and safe. To make it simple, it is the worst major purchase I have ever made. The spa worked fairly well for the first couple of years and it has been totally unreliable ever since. Specifically, the Ace Salt Water System cannot be relied upon to work at all. I have had the cell replaced several times, most recently less than six months ago. It is still not working. Adding to my frustration is Maximum Comfort, who does the maintainence on the spa, never calls me to tell me there is a problem. They throw more chemicals in and call it a day. When I arrive at the house I have come to count on it not working properly. I have had many, many calls with the Service Department at MCPS, but the problem...
