Went in last week to have my avi pack canister recharged. Casey was very informative about the avi pack. I always wanted to get my scuba open water dive license. So I bit the bullet and registered for the online classes. Finished the classes yesterday. So today I went down and signed up for my pool class and get my basic gear for the class. Emily and Casey were amazing made me feel like family. Spent the time to get me all the right gear that fit perfectly. Extremely Rude and myopic about the dive industry. In gathering details about a trip for a friend’s birthday celebration, the owner, Casey, didn’t have many details readily available so I had to ask each question individually. He seemed put out and continually tried to sell me on gear using shaming tactics. At the conclusion of our conversation, he said “We’re used to people who are easier to deal with.” Sadly, I had to walk out. Excellent, professional dive shop! I completed my confined water SDI courses with Beavers Divers. The rental gear (BC, wetsuit, dive computer) they provided for the classes were all high quality, newer gear. The instructors were great. The staff in the store was super helpful and I feel really good about my education so far and the gear they sold me (mask, snorkel, fins, booties).
