I first encountered Vela Apparel when they had a booth at the Steamboat Springs farmers market. The owner's sister was so passionate about the brand and helpful in explaining the different designs and the inspiration behind each. I bought a shirt that day and since then have fallen in love with the brand. I'm obsessed with the artwork and even asked the artist if I could use one of the designs for a tattoo. I was over the moon when she gave me her blessing to use her work, and feel a very special connection to her work. Ketsol is awesome. In addition to having-quality goods with beautiful artwork that inspires, the team supports local and regional conservation efforts and organizations. They participate in the land and rivers fund benefitting wild lands and river health, and support campaigns to get folks out experiencing the outdoors responsibly.
