I had an awful experience with Kara Ricard/ Kara Christianson . She started to cry and blame me for her having to redo the desired hair color. We spent 6 hours bleaching and treating my hair and it made my hair too light. I am not that old but I definitely felt like an old lady after Kara’s magic. I explained to her and she threw a fit first by denying it was not gray and that it was my perspective, then going through the next stage of crying and blaming herself and then finally faking that she would get it right the next time . rs and I know it takes a few times and techniques to get the right color. The stylist has to be open to feedbacks without gaslighting . After 6 hours she got paid and promised to redo the hair. I didn’t want her to feel worse and didn’t share the feedback about her crying drama the same day but shared it on a text . And that’s it ,, she said she is not going to do it. I spent $250 and got nothing . She has her daughter by her side and didn’t have the knowledge of the hair color profession. And she kept saying. That she has been doing it for 40 years. Turned out a toner would have been corrected it within 45 minutes and Kara didn’t bother know such a basic technique . She made me sit in the chair feeling bad for sharing that the color was too light , while she went from blaming to crying and faking professionalism for 90 minutes. No apologies at any time . Another red flag , she somehow charged me by the hour and made it look like it was a charity case . She is not a knowledge worker like a lawyer or a consultant . I was manipulated by her and scammed for getting overly bleached hair. I spoke to the owner Natasha and shared the feedback . Avoid Kara Ricard / Kara Christianson if you need a professional...

I have been to this salon twice now, and each time I have left extremely happy! The first time I went, I saw Hannah. She is absolutely amazing! She really listened to what I was going for and treated my hair with great care, and cut it exactly how I wanted. She is also so down to earth and really tries to make a connection with her clients. That was the best salon experience I had ever had and also my favorite hair cut -- That is until I went to see Bradley recently.

Bradley was absolutely amazing as well! He was so kind from the start and so excited to help me achieve the look I was going for. I went in a little nervous as I wanted bangs, something I haven't had any experience with. He made sure I was absolutely ready to commit to this style. He was honest about how bangs are a big commitment and can be difficult to get used to and style at first, but he showed me how to do work with it and style it myself and made sure I was 100% confident in going through with it before doing anything to my hair. He was super knowledgeable and taught me something I had never even known about my hair. I have very thick, frizzy hair that can be difficult to maintain. He used a certain technique to cut down the bulk of my hair and help thin it out a bit. It feels so much better now. He also showed me how to work with my natural waves and showed me a very simple way to style my hair at home. I loved that he not only made my hair look amazing, but also made sure I left with a new trick that I could do on my own. I will definitely be back!

Maria has been my hair stylist for 10 years and recently joined Mint Beauty Lounge.  Mint was very clean, bright and welcoming.  When you arrive, you text them to let them know you are there and they will come get you.  Everyone wore a mask (including customers), and they asked customers to wash hands immediately upon entering.  I felt very safe.

Maria was amazing as always ❤️, and it was really good to see her again.  Maria will listen to the ideas you have for what you want and will talk you through what she thinks would work for you.  She is meticulous and consistent which are the best qualities to look for in a hairdresser.  She has very reasonable pricing. You couldn't pick a better hairstylist than Maria. My husband loves going to Maria as well!
