You know, I really wasn’t going to write a review over this situation but I am based off of this servers attitude/disrespect. The part I was NOT going to leave a review about was that I ordered (for pickup) the mystic 18 burger (for me, who is vegetarian) & a regular bacon cheese burger (for my friend, who isn’t vegetarian). They labeled the boxes wrong.. the box labeled ‘Mystic 18’ had the real burger in it, and the box label “BaB” had the vegetarian burger in it. I ate half of the real burger before I got a bite of bacon and realized this was a real burger. Yes, I did not inspect this burger beforehand, which I should have apparently, but I just assumed I was eating my vegetarian burger as I was eating out of the “mystic 18” box. I didn’t think anything of it because vegetarian burgers taste pretty similar to real burgers (I think that’s the point haha). Okay, so here I am being disgusted after 15 years of being vegetarian that I ate a real burger.. so it was a big deal to me in the moment. I call them and explain the situation and they ask, “what can I do to help/fix it” I asked them for a remake of the entire order (more so for my friend because she didn’t get her regular burger). When I got into the store I had also ASKED for a refund AND apologized (what the heck was I apologizing for?? Just wanted to give you, the reader, an idea of how much I was not a threat and not causing a scene.. I was a normal/quiet human asking to fix the situation. Not being a lunatic basically like a lot of other people are when they don’t have their order right). Aisha (I didn’t ask for the persons name but that was the name on the ticket… they are there all the time tho. I apologize if I am misgendering, but it’s a man who always works there and smokes cigarettes outside. Long brown hair, face piercings. Probably in his 40s). K, so he says he needs to go check with his manager about the refund.. fine. Comes out and says he packaged the remake himself then gives me the refund annoyingly (doesn’t say anything about it when he comes back out from talking to the manager, just does something on the computer to void it out and hands me the paper saying it’s voided). So here I am.. still not going to leave a review because I got what I wanted even with the little attitude here and there, whatever I get it… again customer service is not fun. Been there, done that. But then I get home and the “M18” box is on top of the box that says “Caution! Meat & bacon!”. It’s so incredibly rude to mock someone over their diet. That caused him to use more energy to write that little snarky remark & hide it under the M18 box, which sucks for him!!!!!! Hope you start to learn how to respect peoples diets more, thanks! :) also how stupid do you have to be to leave hand written evidence on your box’s.. of course I’m gonna upload it and leave a...
Read moreOn entering all was fine, nothing really to see sat down and noticed it seemed slow which was good calm energy But then the Waitress came and took our orders 4 different sandwiches And gave us water all seemed well. But after about 45 minutes I noticed we had not seen our waitress and our food had not arrived. After a total of about an hour waiting hour, food finally arrive. Nothing seemed fresh. Everything seemed as though it had been cooked and been waiting but then getting into my food. I had ordered a bacon cheeseburger and what I got was a dried outmcdonald's Burger on oversized bun. In one piece of bacon, no mayonnaise, no vegetables. Nothing, the tater tots where the highlight of the show. In short, the food here's overstated. The service was not great, and it deserves a to star rating.and now I understand no one at this restaurant its a hard...
Read moreDespite being a strip-mall McMenamins, this one performs a little better than the others. The wait staff have always delivered on every visit and seem cheery and eager.
The beer selection seems broader here with seasonals found nowhere else. The food is roughly the same as what you'll find at other McMenamins which is decent and seems to be improving.
Only strike is for the space itself: the Kaddy car wash across the parking lot is painted bright white which reflects super bright sunlight into the dining space. This is hard on the eyes and I'm surprised the management hasn't crafted a nice outdoor patio space with tall bushes to combat that effect.
The brewery operation is on full display here, though, which is a welcome change from other McMenamins which keep it a little more under wraps. Just don't tap on the glass here because it frightens...
