Supermercado Tequila — Local services in Beaverton

I stopped by to get myself a snack because I saw that they had hot food. The first impression of the store was that it’s super cute. It is very small. But I was there for snacks. Not groceries so it worked out really well for me. I’ve had just enough selection of Pastries and the usual food items in their deli, like rice and beans and tamales and what not.

I got a chicken tamale and I think it had one piece of chicken in it. I don’t recommend the tamales. I also bought a container of prepared fruit that they had on display with various sauces that One can add. I liked this. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Some thing that was already prepared. I think the sign said $6.99 , but the cashier said that the fruit was $4.99 That’s good because I would not have paid $7 for it.

The store is small so they had to maximize their space. The isles are more narrow than normal. People who don’t do well in tight spaces might not do well shopping here. There’s no room for a stroller or anything like that. Definitely not a wheelchair.

The employees were sweet. They were quiet, but they were sweet and helpful. The store is very clean and decorated...

Mehh.. wasn’t too impressed. It’s definitely more clean than when it was Guelaguetza (hopefully got rid of the cockroaches) but the fruit/veggie area still needs some work. If the fruit is already going bad (mangos) then set it completely away from the fresh stuff. Maybe put a basket by the cash register and give it away free of charge. The 2 people at the cash register weren’t very welcoming either, it felt like a forced “buenas tardes”.. no smiles no nothing. You guys need people up beat, cheerful, and welcoming to shake...

These people are very rude.They were badmouthing me in Spanish because they didn't know I spoke Spanish. I got some conchas and pastries and when I got them home they were full of mold.When I returned to see about an exchange,they said no. I didn't want my money back.i just wanted to get some that weren't full of mold. I'd give them zero stars,but it won't let...
