I have never had a worse experience. When we got there, there was a family of 2 women with 3 children. One of the women went outside with the toddler and when the older child followed, they yelled at him for going outside. Rude and loud.
The spoon that they put into my soup was dirty, but I didn't even say anything about that. The egg flour soup was very salty, and the hot and sour soup was salty and weirdly sweet.
My green bean chicken plate was so salty and strong that I couldn't eat it. When we said it was not good, she acted shocked and did not return. My husband tried to pay for the dish that he ate, but she said he had to pay for both. When he refused because I could not eat it, she yelled at him. She told him that it's a business and he had to pay or she'd not have a business. He was adamant about it and told her it was inedible, so she made him pay for my soup. She argued with him and said they did not use salt, only soy and oyster sauce ( which are both salty) I had already walked out or I would have insisted he leave without paying at all. Rude people. Terrible food. Oh, and Christmas decorations were hanging everywhere, it's almost August. Save yourself the trouble and...
Read moreThe woman at the front was smiling and said hello. . She took my to go order. The wait time wasn't bad and the portions were generous and the food was fresh and hot however the Kung Pao chicken has green peppers in it and it ruined the entire dish. It's gross the taste of the green peppers are so overpowering and strong that's all you ca taste. And anyone who likes kung pao chicken or has ordered it knows that's not what you put in Kung Pao chicken you don't put green peppers in it. The real thing is just chicken and peanut. I won't order that again. But I will give the place another try because the food was hot and fresh, pretty tasty and large portions. You might try it for a lunch combo. But geez don't put green pepper in kung pao chicken!! Also celery doesn't belong in their ribs the whole thing . Cheap filler. Had I known those were in there I would have asked to not put them in I just don't expect cut up vegetables in Kung pao. It doesn't even have the flavor of kung Pao. It's mostly gonna be thrown away...the texture of the chicken is stringy and dry. Just doesn't ready very good . Try...
Read moreI was looking for Szechuan Eggplant. I saw the sign for the Szechuan House facing TV Hwy, near the edge of a shopping center in Aloha. A few months later, I finally went in.
I ordered the Szechuan Eggplant, and I was not disappointed, to say the least.
I nearly was unable to finish the bowl of rice and huge plate of eggplant. The sauce and the eggplant were perfect. You may have as much rice as you like, at no extra cost. I can eat that food every single day, and never grow tired of it.
This restaurant is relatively small, but four or five people comprised the Cook and Wait staff. There are about 10 tables, but I was the only customer at a table for much of the time I was there.
I felt very comfortable there, sitting, and, at times, talking with the Wait staff and Cooks, who sat down and resumed their talking after they made my dinner and served it to me.
Multiple family members were running the place. They are very nice people and treated me like a family member or...
