I had been looking forward to coming here all week and I was absolutely blown away.
There were a couple people ahead of us which is always a good sign. The wait was not long at all. From the time we ordered to the time we left was maybe 10-15 minutes but we got a ton of food.
Everyone working was extremely friendly and seemed happy to help with any questions or suggestions our party had. It was also really neat to watch them cook our food, they did a couple tricks for us as well (egg tossing!).
The prices are more than fair considering how large the portions are. My boyfriend ate his but I have some leftovers for lunch today (which is still great when reheated). Our party had NY strip steaks with fried rice, a few orders of lumpia, a side of veggie yakisoba (delicious), and shrimp tempura. The lumpia absolutely blew us all out of the water. Everything is made fresh.
The sauces are delicious although it was a struggle for me to decide how much sauce and when to add it as the flavors and seasoning were already spot on. I wanted to try everything, every combo I could think of.
I’m really excited to see a hibachi food cart on this side of town. No more traveling across town, no more frantically trying to get reservations. We were also told that with some advance notice they’re open to doing catering orders which could be great for parties or work events.
We got our food to go but there are tables set up for those who want to eat there. The tables are also covered so you don’t have to worry about the weather!
I will be telling all of my friends and family to come show some support and love.
We will see you guys again soon! Thank you for treating us...
Read moreTried this place for the first time today. I will say that the food portion size as well as taste was great, even though it's a little bit more expensive than I would I would want since you're basically paying the price of a sit down restaurant it can be hard to swallow the pricing at a food cart being the same. However again the portion size was more than I could actually finish. I ended up eating probably only half of what I ordered meaning I got two meals out of that so at that point it probably is worth it. Location is great. It's centrally located right off of 185th and TV highway. Talked away from the main street of the traffic. There's not a lot of parking and it's very strange because there's only a select number of food cards here and somehow they all have their own seating area. So while that's a bonus, it's a little bit more strange to see considering most food cart locations have a centralized seating place where all the food carts share. But each of these food carts had their own space which was unique and probably helpful so that people can eat.
I will probably return here in the future, although not often. Since again, it is a bit spendy, but if you're craving some authentic Asian food, this might be a place to try. It was...
Read moreThere's a part of me that doesn't want to tell you how absolutely AMAZING this food is! I'm not sure I want to tell you how they take care to clean the grill before starting when we order to make sure my celiac husband is able to enjoy this deliciousness without worrying about cross contamination. I'm not sure I should tell you how amazing the guys are that run the cart, or how we eat there so much they know my name when we call to order ahead....and it's all for selfish reasons! Because the parking lot has limited parking unless you park out front by Big Lots and walk to the back of the block. Because they make everything fresh and there's little table areas to enjoy your food, and I want to be able to sit. LOL
However....I can't keep this secret. Seriously. I don't care where you are in Portland Metro, Beaverton/Hillsboro, or anywhere in Oregon really - it's worth the trip. It is SOOOOOOOOOOO worth the trip! The sauces are amazing, the food is ALWAYS on point, and the chefs are really great guys! It will become a favorite go-to with...
