Ashley Store — Local services in Beckley

My husband and I had been shopping for a few months for furniture. We had been to several furniture stores in our area. We found it difficult to find quality furniture at a reasonable price. That is until we noticed the Ashley store and decided to stop in. We were greeted by a lady named Tracey. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, considerate of our space to was not pushy. She would assist us with all questions we had but let us walk through the store without being a pushy salesperson. We found Ashley to have very reasonable prices and the quality of the furniture for the price was the best we found. Tracy made notes while we walked around so we could take home and make sure the pieces we picked were exactly what we wanted for our house being built before we decided. We came back a few weeks later and purchased all of our furniture from Ashley and Tracey was with us from start to finish. We ordered our furniture that day and are awaiting delivery which they will do for us when our house is complete. One time delivery fee and all of our furniture will be delivered in one day and set up. We ordered months ahead knowing that there are delays with everything right now. Terrible experience. When I went into the store, a gentleman helped me pick a couch out and got on the computer and quoted me $1100. Great! Decided to finance it for 6 months. The guy helping me got pulled away and swapped out with a lady. Got applied and approved for the financing. Then she tries to rush the order without saying anything else. I have to ask what the final price is, and she quotes me $2700??? Didn’t say anything. Long story short, we end up ordering it for a little over 1400. Supposed to be here in 6 week. Great! Whatever. That’s fine. This was the first week in April.

Fast forward to today, I still do not have my couch. The keep pushing ETA back every time I call. Now it’s supposed to be here next week, but we all know that’s not happening. My order will be cancelled if it’s not here and they don’t offer an incentive to wait longer.

No integrity on the sales team and can’t trust the companies ETAs.
