Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan - Lambertville Store — Local services in Bedford Township

This goodwill was one of my favorites but not anymore . They take everything and anything they can get their hands on that may be worth a little more and raise prices . They now take all brand name purses and mark them up to prices that NEW purses cost at TJMax or anywhere with a sale . The back is crammed full of stuff and it looks horrible . They put so many clothes out that you can even look at them in the rack because they don’t move . Who sells purses at goodwill for 50 bucks !!!!! There prices are outrageous . On and another note REMEMBER that when you walk in that store and see the color for the half off tags that’s a lie . Sunday night and Monday while they are working they are taking that color off the racks so you won’t get any half off tags . I know that has to be illegal and I’m going g to report that . I’ve not only seen it happen a few times on a Monday but my daughter worked there many years ago and they were told to do the same . The CEO of Goodwill makes over a half a million dollars I think while they abuse what they stand for . Some always asking to round up for their mission . I will not shop retail so sadly Goodwill is about the only place left to shop . Read up about the goodwill and how much the CEO makes . I still find things but the prices are NUTS . Absolutely awful compared to when it was across the street. The clothes look really old and faded, which is expected at Goodwill, but there are no fitting rooms!

Spent an hour sorting through all the racks of clothes to be told they do not have fitting rooms.

Good luck keeping this place open since it's mostly clothes and nobody is going to buy a cart full of clothes they can't try on.

UPDATE: My mom bought a pair of jeans that didn't fit. She tried to take them back and was told that this Goodwill does not refund clothes that don't fit (even though you can't try them on) and that her only option was to exchange the jeans for more clothes. They told her she could not exchange for books or anything else, so she had to go through all the racks again to find something that might fit. Prices are high on certain items . They advertise the color of the week because it’s half off but then they PULL that color so nobody can buy it . They have many workers on the floor doing this . The racks have a lot of different colors but you will also find the sale color. I’ve seen them for years pull the sale color . Today there is a new trick . They face the sale price tags away from the isle but other colors face the isle . It’s pretty sad how they learn new tricks to cheat us BUT they are doing what they are told . My daughter worked there years ago and she had to pull Sale tags too . This has to be illegal! They will start pulling the sale color on Sunday for the start of the sale on Monday . This is why you won’t see a lot of sale colors by Tuesday . They work hard to make sure we can’t...
