Incredibly rude staff this morning, which is a first for as many times as I've been to this location. I ordered a breakfast meal with a hot vanilla latte. At the window, the girl handed me an iced latte. I kindly handed it back and told her I ordered it hot. In a snotty tone she replied with, no you ordered it iced. Slammed the window. Made a comment to co workers behind her- who then were snotty saying she absolutely ordered it iced and with a bunch of hand waving snotty face convo back and forth about how i ordered my coffee. I can both hear and see the whole thing and she only turned around to have the convo, didn't even move from in front of the window. I'm 45, and don't drink coffee iced, never have, so I wouldn't have ordered it as such. When she came to the window to hand me my hot coffee, I expressed how unprofessional it is to be speaking about a customer right in front of a window they can hear and see you. The girl behind her piped in saying it's only rude if we were talking about you. We were only expressing what you were saying, and you did order it iced. I then explained how I absolutely didn't, I don't drink it that way and the way they were speaking is far more than a quick convo about it, it was absolutely a smear session. The girl at the window then said well, you know we can all hear you on these right? (Holding her headset) i said then you'd have known i ordered it hot. She loudly and rolling her eyes said I remade it so is that all you need, as she is starting to close the window. No, it's not, I don't have my food yet. She slammed the window. Came back with my food rudely handing it to me practically throwing it and both girls with a 3rd standing there saying there you go have a better day. One even "clapping" as she talking smiling snarky saying hope your days gets better, All at the same time like a childish school yard bullying session. What a chaotic mess over a misunderstanding that was easy to fix and likely happens, often. Professional tip when working with people: don't get used to talking trash about your customers. It's clear you've become so complacent to do so, you dont care if they are right in front of you
I didnt eat nor drink any of my food. With those awful attitudes, they likely spit in...
Read moreI have never been so put back by the rudeness I experienced at the Lambertville, Michigan location. I am a frequent customer at this location, as I work right in the area. I ordered a meal which always comes with a side. Additionally, I asked for an extra hash brown for my son and a couple other menu items such as timbits, etc.
When I got to the window I received my food and double checked to make sure everything was there, but was missing my son's hash brown. I kindly explained that I was missing the extra hash brown that I ordered and the manager immediately took over with an attitude. I couldn't even believe that I was being talked to the way I was, especially when I politely just pointed out that I was missing an item I ordered. She began to argue with me about how I was wrong, etc. At that point I was just so taken back that a manager was treating a customer the way she was that I blatantly just pointed out that I was not trying to start an argument that I just wanted to explain what I ordered and I just needed my extra hash brown. She threw her hands up and demanded a hash brown to be made and said to me, "I'm giving you your receipt just so you can see that you didn't order this hash brown". She handed me my hash brown and slammed the windows shut.
I have worked in the food service industry, so I understand customers with outrageous expectations, but I was very polite and just wanted to understand where the confusion came from and how I could get my extra item. I would have even paid the money if it truly wasn't on my receipt. But when she immediately jumped down my throat about it, I could not even believe what was happening. This manage needs more training and just some genuine people skills. Because if she gets that upset and argues over a hash brown.... What does she say to customers who are missing more items.
Not to mention, when I got home and we started eating the wrap I ordered was missing the chipotle sauce that is supposed...
Read moreI really do like this Tim Hortons. But I do have a few things that I do not like…
Every time I get a donut there, they are stale and hard, cold, even when I’ve gone both in the morning or even throughout the day. I went inside for a change, I stood there for almost 20 minutes with no one acknowledging me. Every time I get a hash brown there, they’re always hard and cold is not fresh.
My absolute favorite thing here and that I adore is the iced cap. I never had issues with that. The sandwiches are also extremely very good. Overall, this is a really good Tim Hortons.
The only time I had an issue with this place was a few years ago, when someone was rude to my father, who is a saint, a sweetheart is NEVER rude to anyone. Someone there was mean to my father for no absolute reason and I had filed a whole complaint that my father did not deserve anything of what happened because of someone that works there. I gave a call and gave my piece of mind a lot. After that, I’ve never had an issue with this place again. People there are a lot nicer, but I do see that they are hiring a lot of younger people so it is a little immature in there. But I’m not seeing anything disrespectful or bad.
Maybe my experience was good for now, but I’m seeing a lot of others with a lot of disrespectful people and bad experiences. My advice is to check the people who work there and make sure that they are not disrespecting your customers, and fire them if they do act childish or act disrespectful. They don’t deserve a job if they cant use great customer service and have respect for others. Even during a bad day or life, it’s hard for all of us. But not an...
