"PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT COMPLETELY BEFORE SIGNING IT. NO ORDER IS PLACED WITHOUT A SIGNATURE.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds or credits will be made. No exceptions. All policies are based on original Event date.
A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required for all special orders. Sale items must be paid for in full at time of purchase.
The size you ordered is a standard size and is not custom made to your measurements. Our Bridal Consultants suggest sizes by comparing your measurements to charts provided by manufacturers, BUT, the final decision regarding size is YOURS.
Modern Bride takes no responsibility for outside measurements.
I understand that alterations are usually necessary and are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Fittings are scheduled for most Mondays, and Thursdays, excluding holidays.
Bridesmaids Dress can take AT LEAST 12 weeks to ship from the designer. It is customary to order the party of dresses together for dye lot purposes and Modern Bride does so unless specifically authorized otherwise.
Contact us NO LATER THAN 3 MONTHS BEFORE the wedding to schedule your fitting. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE DRESS ARRIVES!
Modern Bride requires a minimum of 4 weeks for bridesmaids dress fittings.
There will be a $20 FEE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED TO YOUR ACCOUNT should you miss your scheduled fitting without any prior notification.
Balances must be paid before any alterations are started. Please wear appropriate undergarments and shoes to all fittings.
I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT THE BRIDE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHARGES ON MY ACCOUNT THAT HAVE BEEN AUTHORIZED BY ME AND/OR THE BRIDE WHICH GO UNPAID BY ME.
Due to postponments or cancellations, balances are due by the original Event date or forfeit all monies and merchandise.
All merchandise not picked up by the original wear date becomes the property of the store and subject to immediate sale.
Cash or Credit Card payment is required on the day you pick up your merchandise.
We cannot be held responsible for shipping delays, dye lot variations, or for merchandise once it has left our store.
I understand that if ordering dresses from different designers there may be a difference in colors even though they may use the same name for a color.

Read moreI had an appointment yesterday with Michayla at Modern Bride to look for my perfect wedding dress. This was only my second time trying on dresses, the first being at a national bridal store chain. My experience at Modern Bride was night and day different then my previous appointment, in a great way! Upon my arrival to the store the staff greeted me and were all very friendly. I was introduced to my consultant Michayla who immediately made me feel welcomed and at ease. The entire staff at Modern Bride did a great job making me feel safe and comfortable while looking for a dress during these difficult times. They had hygiene protocols and face covering requirements in place but did so in a way that was much different than my first bridal appointment at another store. I almost forgot I was wearing a mask rather than the mask being all that I saw in the mirror. Michayla and the other staff gave a sense of ease and normalcy to the appointment. Michayla was patient, positive, encouraging and lighthearted during the appointment. I never felt rushed or pressured! She showed me dresses that were within my budget and met my wedding style. I appreciate her being so conscious of my budget, as I would have been disappointment to fall in love with a dress that I could not afford. She also encouraged me to try dresses that I thought were not “my style”. I was so happy she did so because I ultimately purchased a dress that I love but never expected. Michayla consulted with the other staff who were versed in alterations to answer my questions and to provide ideas on alterations, embellishments and cost. I will be working with Modern Bride alterations team in the future to add sleeves and other embellishments to my dress. I could safely store my dress at Modern Bride for no additional cost and I was encouraged to return at any time to try on my dress again with shoes or accessories. I highly recommend Modern Bride to anyone who is looking to have an intimate and personal shopping experience that is “pressure free”. I will be back to the store with my fiancé to get suiting for him and his groomsmen which is offered at a discount with the purchase of my dress. Read moreMy maid of honor and I were at Modern Bride looking for a plus size dress for her. My friend had been e-mailing a woman all week making sure they had the type of dress she was looking for and to check if they had plus size samples for her to try. When we arrived Charlene was eager to help us find a dress! She helped us find the very few plus size samples the shop has. The woman my friend had been e-mailing was not there to help us find the dresses she had explained but Charlene did a great job finding the 2 plus size dresses they store had for samples (the zippers were broken and the dresses look dirty and ripped). We did not like the styles so Charlene helped us find something similar to the type of dress we were looking for. When we finally found one we brought the dress over to the young woman working the desk. She did not smile and was not very friendly at first. My friend and I were working with a time constraint plus we both know buying plus size is not always the easiest thing. My friend got measured and we were unkindly told that the dress would need to be ordered with extra fabric and that the dress would arrive within the first week of February. My wedding is the 15th of February. We swallowed that, and asked about rush order. The unfriendly young woman told us that was with a rush order. We asked if she could help us find a designer that would make a dress that would fit with out extra fabric and that might ship a little quicker. It seemed like she was having trouble helping us with that. We finally found a designer that had the right size. Charlene jumped right up and helped me pick out a dress from that designer!! We decided against it though because it would be an extra $100 dollars for the dress to be tailored to a plus size woman. I understand that the dress shop doesn't pick which size samples they get, and I understand we were the ones who were on a time constraint but the young woman who helped us behind the desk made a difficult shopping experience that much more awful.
