The Inside Scoop — Restaurant in Bedford

Yesterday was the last time. I’ve been here in the past and thought your staff was not exactly friendly but gave it a few more chances. Then yesterday. I took my daughter in and she ordered a pineapple dole whip swirl, a frappe, and I ordered my own strawberry dole whip. Now, logic would tell you if you don’t have a flavor you’d let the person know. She handed my daughter a strawberry dole whip and when my daughter said that wasn’t what she’d ordered, your employee just stared at her and said “we don’t have pineapple” . So I then said something and she repeated herself, and I said “ No, you’re not understanding, you should’ve told her that not just gave her whatever “ and no word of a lie she just stared at me and said sorry in the most cursive, I spend to much time on TikTok voice, rude mannered way. Then proceeded to ask if I still wanted the strawberry one that was actually ordered as strawberry. The other girl on duty was really nice and acknowledged the mistake and tried to make it right, but my daughter just wanted to leave. Your employees behavior was awful. If she can’t handle dealing with the public as all walks of life, then she should not work there. It’s not the first time being treated poorly in there but it will...

I'm a newbie at the Inside Scoop but the couple times I have been there I've always been super satisfied with the fresh food and quality customer service & take note that their black raspberry frappe is probably the best chilled drink I've ever encountered. And as it turns out, there is a solid group of honest employees working behind the counter. I accidentally left my purse there after grabbing a bite to eat for lunch and I didn't realize until I was at the Hooksett tolls. I called the restaurant and the girls grabbed it from the chair and brought it out back. Long story short there wasn't a dime missing. Unfortunately I've encountered a lot of bad people in my days which tends to influence my feelings of expecting the worst from society (super lame, I know) so I just want to thank all the employees working there today and let you know it's extremely refreshing to be reminded that there's still some honest people out there in the world. First time visiting and we shared a turkey sandwich, an iced coffee and an ice cream. The “toll house” flavor was the best cookie dough ice cream I’d ever had! I loved that it was more of a cookie swirl instead of the typical chunks of dough. I loved that they offered decaf iced coffee, and it was nice and strong like we like it. We’ll absolutely be back, but we’ll skip the sandwich next time… it would have been a great sandwich if it had better meat (which is kind of important!). I’d pay extra to have some better quality meat like Boars Head. Otherwise, it’s a great spot and I look forward to returning!
