Gusto Italiano Market — Restaurant in Bedford

Easily one of the best pizzas you can get around here. I have been wanting to try this place for a year or so now and finally had the chance to for lunch. Gusto is a fast casual pizza shop that makes a phenomenal pizza. We went mid day on a Saturday and it was relatively quiet. A couple of people came in asking about what they had at the market, which was not that much disappointingly. We placed our order and got the pepperoni pizza which was made right away and only took about 10 minutes to get to us. From the first bite, I tasted a very fresh tomato sauce and cheese. The flavor was phenomenal and I had to show strong restrain from finishing the pizza. I highly recommend coming here for a good pizza, albeit a bit pricey than the other places, the quality and flavor...

When I ask people who’ve been to Italy why the food is so much better, I’ve gotten a bit of an idea why after going here. When I got a simple small salami pizza and after one bite I realized why. It was Friday night and they were slammed, but I enjoyed waiting and watching them make the pizza in the giant oven from Italy.

I’m from Jersey, so I typically enjoy NY style. This was on another planet though. When Italy goers talk about “food is so much fresher”, I truly got why. The cheese was so different and fresh it’s a completely different taste than your typical shredded mozzarella cheese that gets spread out.

Owner at this place is usually friendly, however the lady at the front counter today was rude. She quoted our 2 pizza order would takes 30mins or sooner which is fine and we waited. However after 45mins I am still waiting, I have to go up to ask what's going on with my order and what seems like she did not place our order in. I get it, mistakes happens, it was dinner time. But as a front person, she was not apologetic at all. Show no remorse that she messed up my order, making customer wait in house for over an hour for 2 pizzas I find that unacceptable.

Their pizza is good, consider it's the only wood fire spot in the area. But I would not waste my time and money again to go back to this...
